You should subscribe to Guitar Super System: musiciswin.com Steve Vai didn’t say it was the best guitar learning platform ever, but he didn’t NOT say that, either ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

The real breakthrough I had was when I realized that my favorite solos are, to a very high degree, based on arpeggios. I started having fun identifying them and it makes learning and remembering the solos MUCH easier. That's actually a cool idea for a video.

go like this..starting at the 12 fret...D string ( as root guide) It's in G MAJOR/E min D Maj ( Mixolydian) slide up 2 frets....E min slide up 2 frets F # dim slide up 1 fret G Maj go Up 1 string to G string ..Play B min..root at 16 fret G string.. into the G note E string 15 fret. Then place your index on the G note high E string... Then hit these note as you alter between the G note E string. B string........19 G 19 D 19 Then ascend...play the D string to B string B 17 G 17 D 17 Lmao..... it's easier than you think The riff before that...just goes like this G Maj .....Root on A string G note 10th fret. C Maj Root C note D string 10 fret D Maj Root D note D string 12 fret The play D G B...at the 12 fret.... then bend the 14 th fret B string..C# into D pitch Land on the G note 12 fret..

I'm very interested in the chords of the harmonic minor scale you are playing. Are those in your super system course? They sound cool. Thanks for this info

Actually the word "arpeggio" comes from the verb "arpeggiare" that means, as he said, to play a harp

I once broke my low E string... Its actually not hard at all, but it's most likely a result of being a cheapskate player and not changing strings that are beyond rusted. The string core rots down even if the wrapping string doesn't seem too bad, the string breaks from the inside.

I'm spanish but I have a decent level of English and I also have medium knowledge about music theory (for example, I know how modal scales are built and where do they come from but I lack the excercises to learn how to use them effectively) so would you recommend to subscribe to your guitar super system?

That was great! I enjoy playing the harmonic minor scale a lot, but am in need of practice on chord arpeggios in that tonality. The work will be worth it though, it sounds amazing!

Arpeggios are really cool. Just starting now to use them. Still got to work on them. Interesting to see how you use them and to see the harmonic scale using arpeggios.

Practise the shapes religiously, they will take you far. The arpeggio section at the intro to The Glass Prison from Dream Theater has a bunch of 3 string arp shapes to check out. Also a cool section in The Dance of Eternity, and lots of stuff from Becker and Loomis use cool arps. Have fun!!

1 thing i wanna ask about arpregios. So if you playing with a backing track you should use the arpregios based on what the chord is run that time ??? Ps usually i dont think of the chord run when soloing

This seems like an old video. The guitar looks like it did before the "sharpening" the pickups are oxidized, in the video today they're bright and new again. Edit: Not that I care, it's a fine video, just an observation.
