Interesting video. Thank you for sharing this. I am seeing for the first time that car audio is connected to old music system speakers instead of car audio speakers. I am also thinking of doing same thing with my Sony music system speakers. But have a doubt. Normally, car audio rated power (for example 50W) is for 4 ohm speaker impedance. But these old music system speakers have an impedance of 8 ohms which makes the output power to half. Did you notice that power output is reduced?

Thanks for your comments! Regarding using old system speakers on a car stereo, I'd say don't expect miracles from these tiny car players. They will make your old speakers 'work' but might not sound the way they used to sound on those music systems they came with. Ohms will hardly make any difference to the way they sound on a cheap car player. It might be better idea to use old music systems or even car amplifiers to get the best out of these speakers. I did this video just to show the cheapest way possible to reuse the old speakers which might be lying unused somewhere but have potential for good sound.

Mere pass philips k 80watt system k purane speaker hai or abhi mene edifier k 1280db bookshelf speakers liye hai. 1 kya philips k speakers isme kaam kerege 2 active edifier speaker self amplified hai to iss se connect kerne me koi dikkat to nahi via rca connection.

Hello, thanks for your lovely comments. Regarding your first question, yes the method is same for all brands car stereos because they run on 12 volts car battery. You can use 3amp adaptor but that will not be sufficient to play songs at loud volumes, the sound will distort. 10 amps will give better results.

@@dononerds Hello thank you for your reply. So I can use ac dc adapter ranging from 12v 3amp to 12v 10amp? I have 16v 4.5 amp adapter but I can't use that right? And do I need to buy amplifier in addition to the car stereo or that mvh-s329bt car stereo is enough? I can't play songs more than 50 to 60 % volume. That itself is a lot. I have pioneer 6x9 TS A6955 40w 4 ohms max 220w and they sound great. And I am thinking of pairing those speakers to the pioneer mvh-s329bt. It is expensive and that is why these questions to see if it is worth the effort and money. Sorry to trouble you like this but I hope you can answer my questions. It is better to use 12v 10amp supply for car stereo which is optimal to run. Too less or too more of voltages or amps can cause serious damage to car stereos as they are not intended to run on variable loads. And if you don't want to run your speakers at max volume, then its fine to connect them with your car stereo directly. This setup ofcourse will not give audiophile grade sound, but it will definitely let you enjoy your music without much hassles. I hope I am able to clear your doubts on this, if not you are always welcome to comment. Maine front left aur right pe ek ek speaker lagaya hai, rear channels unused hain, aap 4 speakers chala sakte ho, 2 front me aur 2 rear, but iss china type car stereo pe jyada load ayega, moderate volume level tak thik hai, branded jaise ke sony pioneer jvc etc pe acha chalenge

If sony's amplifier is still working then you can connect such car stereo to it by using rca cables, so car stereo's audio will be amplified by your system and your system will now have bluetooth and usb connectivity too

Voltage should be 12v and amps max 10 amps thats 120 watts. It might work with low wattage but there will be distortion at high volumes.
