How to Use Cinebench

When doing a stability test in Cinebench R23, should I run Multi Core or Single Core, or both?

Should cinebench be used on a laptop with a CPU: ryzen 7 3700U GPU: Radeon Vega mobile gfx? I know it’s not even a good laptop top is it worth it to test cinebench on it?

If my Ryzen 7 7700x instantly goes up to 93 and then 95C in cinebench, is my CPU overheating? I have a 240mm AIO.

Totally normal. They're meant to run hot they'll get to junction temp then cut back clocks. If your gaming temps are fine ur fine. FYI my 5800x3d on a full loop hits like 83 in cinebench stress test.

My 5800x never gets above 70C and I also use a 240mm AIO

@@xZack52x yes but theres a HUGE difference between a 7700x and 5800x, TDP isn't the only thing that matters. They are MADE to boost to 93C no matter what cooling you have on it. If you have an offset install youll get better temps, my 5800x3d even on a full loop will hit 83 while compiling shaders for last of us part 1. Also 70C under cinebench in a cold room is what i can achieve in winter as well not an issue. P.S. my 5800x on my loop would stay in the 50s, got the x3d went up to the 70s.

@@bluej511 for some reason in minecraft for windows my temp goes up to 95C in a regular world. Doesn't happen with minecraft Java edition or other games like Asphalt, and doesn't happen on the servers in Minecraft Windows, only for my private world.

So when I ran my test, my CPU instantly went to 95c, I have an aio kraken 360 on a 7700x. I'm confused why it is so hot. Does anyone have any clues? I checked the contact with the aio and cpu it was pretty solid.
