@@AnsonAlexander: I have a Macbook Air 13 laptop with MacOS Catalina as the Operating System version and the Hard Drive/SSD is 551.99 of GB, If I want to create a Volume/Disk image, What is the Maximum of storage can I acheve? Weather if it was a 64TB or 8EB, Will it tell me how much?

Your directions are clear and concise. Unfortunately I can't find any of this on my laptop. The finder has no menu options. And disc utility kept sending me to google and is the same, no options to choose from. I only want to put a lock and password on a file. But it seems impossible. Can you help?

I want to create an image of a USB thumb drive. Everything I see says go to File -> New Image. But, I'm not seeing a menu (or File) anywhere. Any advice on how to bring up the menu? I'm on Mac OS Big Sur.

Hi, I'm having some pretty confusing issues with my Mac.. It's incredibly slow and it looks like I have a Fusion Drive, Container disk2, Macintosh HD volumes, Mackintosh HD, Macintosh HD - Data, and Macintosh Data - Data. Clearly something went very wrong and I don't know what to delete. It won't even let me delete most of these anyway. Do you have any idea what could have gone wrong? I've run first aid on everything and I'm not noticing any improvements in performance. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I don't know what you are doing but what I usually do is make sure all those " > " symbols point down and then, starting from the bottom I run first aid on every level on up to the top . It usually takes about 3 minutes in total . But then again , I probably don't have any corrupt files that need fixing . If you do this regularly it will ensure you don't amass a lot of complicated corruption which could make things harder to impossible to fix using first aid . The word is --"DO THIS OFTEN"
