How to Use Domegaia's Aircrete Foam Injector Mixer

Foam is lightweight and wants to float on top of the cement slurry. The foam injector puts the foam directly into the mixing paddles at the bottom of the barrel. It’s much easier and faster to make aircrete with our foam injection mixer.

We didn't use all the foam and had to stop because the mix was to the top...what should we do? Lower foam pressure or? The mix dried soft not hard.

No need to use all the foaming agent. 5 gallons is enough to for nearly 80 gallons of Aircrete. It takes several days to fully harden but you should be able to work with it carefully the next day.

Domegaia sells the tools, not the plans. They're not ridiculously priced, though. Their goal is to make the technique accessible, so cost is an issue.

@@PeterWest70 That makes sense. I know there are DIY builds on KZbin that look like they work well. Some require an air compressor, which may be a problem. There's nothing magic about the mixer that I can see. It's an off-the-shelf model with the PVC added. That plumbing puts the foam right into the mix at the beater, which probably keeps the bubbles from collapsing too fast, so it's worth adding. That said, Domegaia has done classes all over the world, so it's possible they have contacts where you are. It'd be worth asking them, I think.
