"We didn't go teaching to get rich but to enrich others." To all teachers,Happy Teachers Day !!!!💕 Teaching is the most noble profession in the world. It serves as the pillar of our society since it institutes other professions as well. Every 5th day of October, we celebrate World Teachers’ Day-a day where the struggles and hardships of our teachers are appreciated and rewarded. Being a teacher will never be easy because teaching will never be their sole task. Even the things that aren’t listed in their job description, but because of their love and passion, they will never dare to scape. There are times when they will get tired, but after a little rest, they will continue to move on and promote the future of their students. Ma’am and Sir, I offer you my everlasting thank you. For the help, kindness, and guidance you give to us, we look upon them with great gratitude. For every challenge you face, for your readiness, for your unending support and compassion, we guarantee that your influence will not end in our classrooms and our schools. Instead, we will prolong them and extend them even to our brighter future yet to come. May the Teacher of all teachers guide you.

Can start a word with due to or better to insert the word due to in middle of a sentence not as a starting word. As some dictionary not recommended to start the word due to
@Englishwithjennifer2 жыл бұрын
It's probably more common to see "due to" mid-sentence, but it's acceptable to start a sentence with "due to." You'll find one example like there here: www.britannica.com/dictionary/due-to It's a rather formal construction. You'll find more examples in the news and in books.

There is a lot of noise (because of ) the children who are playing at the playground Ans. There is a lot of noise (due to) the children who are playing at the playground 3. His wife is (going to have a baby) Ans. His wife (is due) Thanks Jennifer for this new lesson... I've learned something new today :)
@Englishwithjennifer3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for visiting today and watching the new lesson. 1. I wouldn't say that "due date" and "expiration date" were the same. When something is due, it's expected, like the library book that needs to go back to the library. When something expires, it's no longer valid, like your old driver's license. 2. Good. Note how you can reduce the adjective clause: There is a lot of noise due to the children playing at the playground. OR ...due to the children at the playground. 3. Yes. Good use of "due." You can add a date: his wife is due in October.
@start66663 жыл бұрын
I would like to know how you teach your children reading in your country? Thanks again 🌹
@Englishwithjennifer3 жыл бұрын
There are different ways to approach reading, and there are different ways to read. First, we read aloud to our children. Picture books with simple language are common. Children hear and see the words. Some of the written language is picked up that way. Many American schoolchildren learn sight words. They must learn to recognize the most common words without sounding them out each time. We also have audio books that children can listen to in the car, or they may listen and read along on their own. In school, there is group reading and eventually independent reading. That's just a bit about the subject. There's a lot more to it, though. :)

Does it make sense to simply say "something is due" as in it's late, it should've happened already? The example I need to use is "We're not teenagers no more. Your growth is due"
@Englishwithjennifer2 жыл бұрын
If something was due in the past and it's still not done, then it's overdue. A bill can be overdue. In the case of physical growth, you might say, "You're due for another growth spurt." You expect sudden growth to take place soon.

Hello Jennifer Can you clarify the difference between at night/by night/in the night/during the night?
@Englishwithjennifer3 жыл бұрын
Hello. Have you seen my playlist on prepositions? kzbin.info/aero/PLfQSN9FlyB6TT9yUCjC6QLTMphzLq2Ay0 in the night/during the night are quite similar = sometime within that period by night = could suggest "by that time" as in before dark at night = nighttime (Ex: My son is learning to drive during the day and at night.)
@ashrafalassal99233 жыл бұрын
Many animals hunt by night. I prefer to travel by night. These examples don't suggest the meaning of "before dark".
@Englishwithjennifer3 жыл бұрын
Context is everything. 1. We need to finish painting the house by nightfall/before dark. We won't be able to see later. 2. Predators often hunt at night. They use the darkness for cover. "Hunt by night" isn't wrong, but "hunt at night" is preferred. ludwig.guru/s/hunt+by+night+VS+hunt+at+night

Good effort. Due to popular demand = many people want something Example: Due to popular demand, the school had to open two more classes in the nursing program. There were too many students for a single class. Due = means expected Reports are due. (You must hand them in to a boss.) Homework is due.(You must hand it in to a teacher.) KZbinrs post when they want. Our videos aren't really due by a certain day.

Hello. I'm not sure I understand the situation. Are you saying that a student draws during class? Speak to her. If you think her drawing is not a distraction and she is able to follow along and participate, let her draw. If the drawing is a distraction, tell her it's not acceptable. You might also try to work her drawings into a lesson. Tell her to draw something outside of class and bring it in. Then you can create language examples based on what she draws, or you can ask her to illustrate certain situations that would help you explain grammar or vocabulary. Good luck!
