How To Use Gelli Print Papers - Part 2, Peace Project

In this video we will use our base (See Part One - Creating a Base here: • How to use Gelli Print... ) to make two different Peace Symbol Projects, one traditional Peace Symbol and one “Love and Peace” Painting

➡️ A base of collage gelli prints you’ve made, on a panel, canvas or simply a photocopy (as I am using)
➡️ Additional collage papers as desired
➡️ Golden or Liquitex Matte Medium
➡️ Spatula to spread on Matte Medium
➡️ Peace Symbol stencil - Make your own out of Tyvek (or get a PDF Pattern from me - see below)
➡️ Peace & Heart Design - Make your own out of Tyvek (or get a PDF Pattern from me - see below)
➡️ Foam Rollers (2)
➡️ Blending Tool
➡️ Liquitex Gesso tinted with Quinacridone Nickel Azo Gold
➡️ Liquitex Soft Body Vivid Red Orange
➡️ Golden Fluid Acrylic - Teal
➡️ Palette Paper or Paper Plate for mixing paint
➡️ Liquitex Basics White
➡️ Golden Fluid Acrylic - Phthalo Blue Green Shade
➡️ Golden Fluid Acrylic - Cobalt Blue
➡️ Golden Fluid Acrylic - Ultramarine Blue
➡️ Liquitex Soft Body - Naphthol Red Light
➡️ Liquitex Soft Body - Yellow Orange Azo
➡️ Black Sharpie

I like version 2 🙂. You could use two-way glue or removable tape runner to hold the stencil down.

Hi Vikki, I just suscribe to your channel, like the things you do. I do work with geli print collage and some. You ask about forms to sustain the masks and I was thinking of washi tape, if the surface is not wet. Doble it so be like a double sided tape, (I don’t have that problem because I made my stencils from yupo, and tend to stay out alone 😂). You should be able to take it off easily. In the mean time I continue to enjoy your work.

Hi Artcurious, thank you for subscribing, and for your suggestions, I do think double sided tape would work, even ATG tape. Also, I am just looking into creating some stencils with Yupo, so thank you for that as well!

@@VikkiReed yes I was resistente to yupo, made my first from cardboard (packaging like cornflakes) cutting by hand and still running most of them, from acetate, even backing of plastic binders. Now yupo and Cricut😂😂. Good luck with it and I will continue seen your work
