Any idea as to how the "eligible for coverage" from a job would apply in my situation... When I'm lucky enough to find a job, I travel across country to work around a month, then travel home. In some cases, I get enough hours to qualify for coverage that generally lasts 1-2 months, then is gone. I need coverage through the year, but no way I can afford the retail price, so I generally have gone without. Just need to know if there's any way to get REASONABLY priced coverage so I don't have to go long periods without any type of health care. Thanks

This sounds a little complicated. I'll do my best to answer here, but if you want to discuss in more detail, I'd recommend calling to get the best possible solution: 888-410-0344. If you have enough hours to qualify for coverage you would likely be able to use that coverage for whatever amount of months are available to you. After those coverage hours expire, you would enter into a special enrollment period and be able to enroll in a marketplace plan (likely with a premium tax credit) at that point. I hope that helps!

@@iHealthBrokers Thanks for your reply. I have now verified that I am covered through February '25, but will hopefully be able to enroll in the marketplace so that I will have coverage beginning March 1. My main concern was verifying that I can still enroll if I miss the general open enrollment period open to everyone. Thanks again
