I am surprised to find it difficult. Most of his moves are pretty straightforward, some just takes a little playing around with before you can see what you can do with them

6:00… meat squasher is top 5 satisfying moves in fighting games. Especially the USF4 ex version that takes you to the other side of the screen. Finishing someone with that move is a delicacy.

super jump cancel for invulnerability? negative edge different knockdowns? I had no idea these mechanics were even in the game… i would be super hyped if you made a video breaking down all 3s systems and mechanics you did a really great job explaining here

Yo mattock, man.. I just saw your FT5 Hugo ditto set vs Alexander on Fight Spy. You play that SA3 Hugo like an animal, man. I was blown away! One way I really enjoy using Meat Squasher is as a read vs characters such as Gouki and Chun that have good options to get out of the corner. Wall jump and teleport. Easy get out of jail free cards. If you read when they're gonna try to escape and throw out a Squasher, you can catch them. I'd love to see you lab it out. It usually works for me if I get the read. And landing a Meat Squasher is usually a round ender haha

I love meat squasher I think it’s fantastic. Or rather, I think players are better off for using it than avoiding it. He really moves pretty quick, it puts them in the corner, and LK’s distance is right around 5MP range anyway. I’ve seen wonderful and observant players scooped up comically.

It's neat to see how 3S has evolved over the years. A decade ago people's perception of the game was "duuuuuude parry is so sick!" but now people are much more aware of how practical things are and what is actually worth going for in a game.

As a Hugo Main in the void of High C-Rank Low B-rank on fightcade, i play with normals more than specials but one that i'd like a deeper insight is the Ultra Throw, this one is tricky to me because i know that it can output more damage than Heavy command grab, but it seems that the range plus startup is quite inferior. Aside of the tech, i think it's the last tool that i want to implement into my gameplay, so, what is your "when to use" about it?

Pretty much whenever you can use it instead of 360, you should. If you're too far, jab 360. If you need more damage, heavy 360. I'm actually more sure which does more between Ultra Throw and moonsault press tbh but I assume 360 does more. I'll check later today probably

I did i little lab with a friend a time ago, when you're in corner and do: light ultra throw + light clap + light back breaker does output more than Heavy Moonsault, i'mma do a test and try to use this more than 360 and see what results of it

A lot of character you can medium clap into heavy back breaker, and yes that does more damage in the corner than HP 360. Outside of the corner, yea 360 will do more damage than ultra throw most of the time (you can actually clap into back breaker mid screen with some spacings).
