So 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 if I don't want Googlebot crawling certain key links on my site, but I still need to have those links, can I use the methods listed here as bad practices? For example, if I need to link an about page in a paragraph, is it a good idea to do it with JavaScript? Nice tut as always!

If crawling is a problem, use robots.txt (crawling is very rarely an actual problem). You can also use noindex if you just don't want the other page indexed. Otherwise I'd just link naturally. It's not a problem to have a lot of links on a page. I would strongly avoid using hacks to "hide" links, you're just creating problems for future-you.

These website builders usually all make HTML pages for you. You can use most of the SEO techniques there too.
