Usually, that stems from a frequency issue or potentially a problem with the formulation. However, if you're looking for a moisturiser, I'd suggest trying either the CeraVe Ultra Moisturizing Gel or The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + Beta Glucan.

Technically, yes, but practically, you need to see how well it works for your acne-prone skin.

i am just so confused. if it is a "toner and moisturizer" then shouldn't we use essence first then this (and sunscreen after that). will this not be okay?

Haha, yes, it's confusing - typical marketing nonsense. However, it really depends on the essence you have. I'd suggest testing both ways to see which layers best.

No, that's not needed. Unless you have dry skin, in which case you may feel the need to follow with a moisturizer afterward.
