On the manual says that if hair is placed to the right of the barrel, use right spin button, and same with the left side. When I tried to do it like you said, alternating buttons without checking the barrel, it keep turning off. Does anybody have the same problem? Or it doesn’t matter the direction of the barrel, or is something wrong with mine? Thank you

I just got one today. I never curled my hair even with a normal curling iron so I find it a bit challenging. Any tips for putting the hair in the barrel when you get to hair in the back or the bottom layer?

I just used mine for the first time today. My hair is super straight and fine, like hers, except shorter-not quite shoulder length. I got it to look pretty cute after a looong period of trial and error in front of the mirror. I could only get spiral curls when I used very small sections of hair. The hardest part of all was curling the back. I wish someone would demonstrate how to curl the back when you can’t see it. Overall, I think it might work pretty well with practice; it just takes a lot of time to master the technique. The jury’s still out... We’ll see...

1 inch hair width? have they gone mad? I put in my Babyliss Curl Secret a thick strand as large as 2-3 fingers in diameter. After doing all the hair and letting cool off, I later split the strands with my fingers and adjust as needed.
