We gave MS Forms a shot since it was part of our O365 suite but found it lacking. We went with Cognito Forms in the end. The ability to have conditional logic as well as lookup fields to pull information from other forms was important for us. I'm sure we could have built something with Power Automate with additional time. I really hope that MS improves this product in the future.

Forms it good for it's simplicity but agreed sometimes you do need more depending on usecase

Question. I have to submit several forms for work vis MS Forms. Is there a way I can export my forms or save my forms prior to sending them? Once I send them I have no file to save for my own file, other than clicking on the email from my form submit response.

I don't believe there is that option for an export or copy of your form fill
