How to Use Motion Controls on Cemu with the Switch Pro Controller!

Here's a quick tutorial on how to use the Switch Pro Controller's motion controls on Cemu.
All you need is a Switch Pro controller connected to your PC, and Cemu!

A Dualshock 4 or 5 works the same way. WiiU Gamepad, Add a Direct Input Controller, select your PS4 or PS5 controller. In Settings check the Motion Control option. You can even assign buttons for Blow Mic, and Show Screen.

@@dependent1267 Make sure "Emulated Controller" is set to Wii U Gamepad, otherwise it won't detect the gyro. If you have Steam installed, go into settings > controller > general controller settings. Disable PS5 controller support, as Steam will override what Cemu is trying to interpret. You will have to re-enable this if you use your controller with Steam! Beyond that, I don't know, sorry.

@@ReveriePass Similar Problem, I have Sound Fox SE3901 Controller that arrived yesterday. I can't afford a Switch Pro Controller. My Controller doesn't seem to have a dedicated Sync Button, but I was able to connect it to my PC through Bluetooth. If I don't use the USB adapter, the controller turns off. If I use it, it automatically switches to Xinput upon connecting and I can't get it back to switch mode after that. Also, my pc is still running on Windows 10, but I am considering upgrading to 11. Any Suggestions?

You are a f*cking god. I just fired BotW up for the first time in a couple years, and the gyro was completely non-functional. I tried EVERYTHING. Easy stuff at first, but it snowballed into me downloading fresh versions of Cemuhook, then DS4Windows, then Cemu. I even uninstalled and reinstalled my f*cking bluetooth drivers. I downloaded a sketchy controller testing program to make sure the gyro was still even working. I was going absolutely insane. In the end, I uninstalled everything but Cemu, and it just. f*cking. works. Incredible. Thank you.

i connected my pro controller and did the stuff u did and it worked but when i tried to connect again the next day the controller was working but the motion controls werent working, is there anything to fix this? Edit: Ok I found a way to fix it, every time I connect a different controller or put my laptop to sleep then use it again the pc for whatever reason doesn't recognise inputs from the controller but connects. U can see if the controller works by pressing on the d-pad or left stick and seeing if there's any highlighted box that appears. I have to restart my laptop each time I use a different controller or wake it up from sleep so what we can do is play with just the pro controller most of the time if we use cemu or prefer playing with it for most games.

@@rest6476 Debating on it. Just download the Ultimate Software app, change your controller to switch mode, then connect to your pc via Bluetooth and it works the same way as this video

I just got a pc 7900xt and 7700x 32gb ram built in WiFi and blue tooth I have gyro and motion aimed since 2006 and refuse to stick aim I love tight core motion controls and everything gyro mouse I love the switch and now I have a powerhouse pc I'm back on steam gyro aiming with pro pad and steam pad...this video has made me want to get into cemu gaming more tha ever thank you

Cemu went open source on its 2.0 version and added things that Betterjoy or CemuHook added to the emulator. Now it doesnt need either of them.

And make sure you are using a pro controller it doesnt matter if its third party or original but make sure that the PC says "Pro Controller" when you check the Bluetooth tab. After these open Cemu go to Options-Input Settings and click emulated controllers and select the one you want. After that go right below it and select the controller tab. Select SDLController as the API and the Controller option below it will be available and it will show "Nintendo Switch Pro Controller" if all is right. Select it and click add. If the app configures all the buttons for you and all of them work thats a good sign. Select the settings menu right below the controller tab and you should see a "use motion" checkbox at the top left corner. enable it and click add and you are good to go. If you are gonna use a PS Controller there are guides out there on how to use PS controller Gyro on Cemu so go check those out and I dont know if you can use a Xbox controllers Gyro on the app. If the problem is still not solved then either you did something wrong or there is something wrong with your PC or controller.
