Thanks JJ, just installed a 128gb transcend msata with a different kind (lighter) msata-ide adapter, very light and doesn't get hot as the hdd, the read\write performance also has improved a lot. it works perfectly!

MPC1000 & MPC2500 can only be used up to 131GB. Therefore, even if it recognizes 480GB, only 131GB can actually be used.

Does this still work on jjos2XL version 3.79? I ordered the same KINGSTON Digital SUV500MS/120G 120GB SSD as you and the same mSATA SSD to IDE Conversion Adapter KRHK-MSATA/I 9. I am using the Akai HDM10 hdd kit. I have also tried the MPCStuff kit. The MPC is still not recognizing the SSD. Thank you.

It also works at Ver.3.79. When you can connect with PC, please check by PC whether SSD recognizes. When you have recognized with PC, please try on MPC again after formatting by FAT32. When not connectable with PC, please remove once and attach again. It may be a poor contact. Thank you.

@@60017120 I bought another SSD: "LEVEN MSATA 128 GB" and it worked! I guess the Kingston drive failed since I could not even initialize it in my PC to format. Thanks JJSOFT!

Did it format? When SSD is not recognized, please check whether it is recognized with PC. It may be a problem of an adapter when recognized with PC. Did the adapter use the same adapter as video? When SSD is not recognized using same SSD and the same adapter as video, he may be a defect of SSD or an adapter.

どのメーカーのSSDでも問題なく動作するはずです。 キングストンを使ったのは購入時に一番安価だったからです。 但し、120GB以上のSSDを使ってもMPCは最大131GBまでしか使えません。 SSDよりもアダプターの方が他のメーカーだと使えない物があるかもしれません。 ですからアダプターは動画と同じアダプターを購入することをお勧めします。
