I feel like there probably shoud be a "Keep level" feature (keeps at 0.0% grade) and "Force cut and fill" / "Force bridge" (like some modded tools in CS1 allowed you too choose if you wanted to)

Keep level would be a big request from me, just let us start a bridge at 5m and then no matter where we draw it, the endpoint will be at the exact same height instead of being 5m above whatever ground we place it. I've found that you still need to level the sea floor to get a straight bridge....

Random thought that came to mind while watching this video... whether through vanilla, dlc or through mods, I think it'd be interesting to see graffiti appear on the cut and fill walls when the wall is above road-level. Could perhaps even tie into crime to generate tags. Maybe even set certain cut-and fill walls to allow graffiti art.
@rsWill525
@rsWill525 Жыл бұрын
SC4 had that. It was linked to local crime, which was broken down into varying types and severity. Miss those little details...

I suspect the need to upgrade every section of road to add grass, trees etc will get tedious, esp as you have to do it twice. Should be a keybind like shift which means that it will do both sides at once

I still think it's amazing they included this type of functionality in the base game though, even if it falls a bit short. This isn't the first time I've said this about something CS2, but once again hoping a mod can fix it (if CO can't/doesn't). At least the added or improved base-game functionality for a ton of things in this game might give modders more to work with than they had in CS1

Great stuff to kick off our new experiences with CS2. As would be expected, a lot of the pre-release creator content was a bit generic looking. Now that more of the options and features can be freely explored and exploited, we are going to start seeing some really cool stuff with the cut and fill and stacked roads and so much more. With the lack of props, stuff like layers, zoning, and road layouts are going to be even more important.
