I don’t care about the Taycan or any electric Porsche! Even if it’s faster and greener than internal combustion engines. I’m keeping my 2008 Cayenne S! Nothing beats a large naturally aspirated V8 with a cross plane crank in terms of sound. That’s a proper Porsche instead of this EV crap.

@@ElixoYT To be revealed in January 2024. After that, about 3 months for deliveries to start. A lot was already revealed just a couple of days ago to journalists in Leipzig event. Quite a few journalists' articles are there about it. And they were told full specs will be revealed in January. So, deliveries after that. I too am going for a Macan EV :)

Nice if you can afford to change your car within 3 years but this will reduce battery capacity over time. Buying a Taycan is expensive and if you plan to keep the car who wants 20% to 30% drop in range of an already bad range ? Porsche guarantee the battery for 8 years and 70% capacity with a range of 220 to 250 miles. Losing 20% capacity will drop the range to 176 to 200 miles in summer and lower in winter. Taycan struggles to get 3 miles per kw. Mercedes EQS does over 300 miles.
