As an American that moved to Canada, I love the fall theme. But also, the maple leaf is so symbolic of Canada l the blue is the perfect blue for the Toronto Maple Leafs hockey team. 😀 I think you just sold a ton of that product to Canadians. 😀 I appreciate the beginner techniques! Love, love, LOVE your designs! I have always wanted to decorate cookies with royal icing and you have inspired me to give it a try. Can you explain how you prepare your piping bags? You just snip a tiny opening? How do you make sure you are getting the size consistent each time you make an opening on a bag? And then when it is the outline vs the flooding, it is the same bag/opening but you just use more or less pressure? Sheesh! I obviously still have a lot to learn, but if you could do a tutorial on preparing piping bags and then how to use them to pipe onto the cookie, I'd be most grateful! Thank you for all you are doing to help those of us out here wanting to learn :)

Very cool! I've used Wilton gel colors for years. With coloring my cake frosting to my royal icing for cookies. It wasn't 'til I started watching you and some other cookie ladies, I ventured out and got americolor. This tutorial was great. Hey Grace, the cookie ya did dragging the dots of icing, that could be another turkey cookie!🦃 Fall Fever has hit me hard! 😜 I do like the simplicity of each design.🍁
