Lol so I learned the hard way to wait a few seconds before applying primer. Also I learned that some primers don’t mix well with some moisturizers but I think it might be because I would put everything all at once lol. I have recently in the past year or so have started to use primer. I think when your really young you don’t really need it. As you get older you learn how important moisturizer and primer are. I found that using it just makes putting on the makeup smoother. I don’t have redness or under eyes circles but I’m a bit older now and found that when I want to have a smoother face primer even alone helps. A lot of times I just use it by itself.

Would love your recommendation if this is the correct primer for me to use or go with a more liquid primer that’s not so much of a gel like one like the Hydro grip foundation. Love your helpful video btw.

I’m new to really using makeup. I’m 39 and I’ve never really needed it before. I have been having an issue with my makeup settling into my pores a few hours after I put it on. I use a moisturizer in the morning and I have tried 25 or more primers - I have a drawer full of them. I have tried changing the type of foundations, brands, moisturizer, everything and nothing seems to work. What is your suggestion on a primer and products to use. Should I stay away from powder type makeups or just what are your tips to making your makeup last the whole day and not look terrible After a few hours.
@zekekelly1928Ай бұрын
i don't know what products you use but if you haven't used setting spray before, it can be such a game-changer; same thing with transparent setting powders after your foundation! I've used Wet n Wild's setting spray for the longest time cause it's cheap and sprays on really lightly and keeps my skin and makeup looking fresh. and setting powder helps so much with my foundation looking too static or cakey- otherwise, i say practice makes perfect!

Hi lovely.. Great tutorial as always.. ❤.. Can I ask, I know eye cream is applied around the eyes but my question is.. why don't we add primer to the eye area?.. xx
@NinaUbhi110 ай бұрын
the skin is thinnest around the eye than anywhere else on the body so it's best to avoid a heavy build up of product in that area. Eye cream still treats the area whereas primer doesn't necessarily treat...it only preps and depending on the primer it could be too heavy for that area.

PLEASE HELP!!! (& please jump in if anyone else knows too!!🙏😩) Is there ANY difference in how primer looks, sits, lasts or performs ect applying it with a brush VS fingers, or any other tool if there is one? I’m recently getting into makeup again so buying everything from scratch. I’ve bought a few different formulas of primers to try (a spray, a putty & a grip gel). I’ve noticed there’s a proper “primer brush” I can buy but if it make’s literally no difference in any way then I don’t see the point in spending more money on my already enormous makeup haul 😅😅 But I have my Dad’s Wedding coming up & I’m also doing some family’s makeup for it too so it’s important to me everything goes on, performs & lasts as well as possible so if there’s an actual difference in any way with any primer formula using a brush then I’m happy to buy one, I just don’t want to buy it if it make’s literally zero difference either way?
