Consider poking the holes in the wrinkles by the tie off so it seals itself instead of applying an adhesive sticker to the bird's skin. A thick rubber glove can also be used so you can do this faster and safer.

Didn't get a good look at the safety label but it probably said something about not dunking fingers in water just short of boiling. 50 birds later and they will be getting a bit tender. Used these bags first time yesterday with the "hole poked" method. It made for a professional finish. Only problem I found that a small amount of water entered. Very careful in process not to submerge for longer than 4-5 seconds. Still a great product (12" x 16" bags) and I will definitely be using again but I may try a very narrow straw down through the zip-tie method next time as an exit for air so I don't compromise the water tight bag.
