I know this is an older video, but super curious about the storage space. How many unique patterns can this make and do they correspond to the song once the song is saved? For instance, i wrote a bunch of songs and ran out of patterns, can I delete the existing patterns without affecting the songs. And if there is a limit, can that be worked around by getting more smartmedia cards, thanks!

And want ask is There something like number of repeats at one position like in esx2 repeat numbers what can set how need.. before it goes at next patern? Or one position one play of patern? Tony Davidson I'm not sure probably not but Google emx1 polyphonic keyboard I think there's some forum posts about it

No, you have to manually enter chord types using the 'chord' oscillator and then program the root note of each chord. If your keyboard can put out different midi channels for each note then you could achieve a maximum polyphony of 5 (using all the synth parts on the EMX-1). This is more trouble than it's worth; I recommend using the chord oscillator or making some 2-3 part harmonies by recording complementary monophonic melody lines.

Hi, I have a emx1 but the partmute pad isn't working as a mute, I think that it is set in the step rec mode, someone knows how can I quit the steprec mode? I just want the partmute button work as a mute. I have this machine since last year and it has always worked well. But yesterday partmute button just stoped working. Can someone help me please? Thanks for your video. Maybe you'll be able to help me. I do t understand how to erase event in song mode. In the manual it's said we have to maintain shift and reset button but I don't know how. Do we have to do that during reproduction or in a pause mode. Do we have to maintain those during a time or it's a selection as if I want delete a pattern? In the manual they speak about a region but this mean? Regards :l

Can someone help me? i just cant delete songs or save them, i selected keyboard part 2 and hit (shift + 10 /clear song) but it changed nothing :( I would be happy if someone can helo me out..

I KNEW there was a reason i was attracted to this machine since age 9. Finally have one amd i intend on making Hard trance with it. The 303 Bassline on this thing is NASTYYY!! Ans the song mode reminds me of FL Studio. Just make the Pattern (Loop) And add it to the part you want it played on. This was a great tutorial! Thumbs up, subbed, come check out my stuff and my EMX As well, and i'm waiting on a Bherginger td3sr
