yes .. I've tried for years to reach a MX praticity of music .. but with even better sequencers and synths I can't arrive to the immediate results of the MX. no way

so glad you're making some fresh new tutorials about this machine. i've had mine for 10 years, and after fixing the 'knob jitter' problem, i've dusted it off and started using it more -- these tutorials are all a great refresher, and also giving me new ideas for making sounds

How neat! You've made another EMX-1 video! You know, I just bought a TR-8S yesterday, and it's amazing that in a lot of ways it's less intuitive and flexible than the EMX, a device from almost 10 years ago. I also have an MC-808, from 2007, and it too is much more versatile than the newly released TR-8S. Funny times. Thanks for another great vid, Ron.

Ron Cavagnaro ✌🏽😄 awesomely annoying. Reminds me of Aphex Twin or Squarepusher. I have almost every Electribe and never thought of getting this kind of glitchy production out of them. ESX does some wildness with external samples. Im imagining this technique thru some guitar pedals. I also notice a Kaossilator feel to the effects.

RealIy works very well you can program the midi into it for each part

Can you assign differents effects for each track? e.g. a delay for synth 1, a reverb + dist for drum 1, and so on

So I accidentally hooked up something about 2 months ago and I was able to use the Synth filter to modify a sound from my other drum machine. How the hell was I able to do that? I haven't been able to try again since

There is a line in option I think that's what you used. I don't know right now but just try to look up the line in option in the manual

I'm confused about the "send" setting? Can you only send one effect at a time while having another 2 in your holster? Or can you send all 3 at once?

Yes send tells which to send. Fx chain button changes the wiring from fx 1,2,3

You can not with emx1. You can with esx1 which I've never tried

I Absolutely hate how the fx is compromised

What do you mean compromised? I've had tons of fun with it!

@@RonCavagnaro if you go to korgs website, they will tell you that the effects chain is compromised. When you select Channel 1 for the drums, all the other channels will have the effect on it. The effects isn't what they meant it to be. I did a bunch of research and thats where it got me. They know the effects chaining is shot

@@RonCavagnaro yeah it kind of sucks because if I want the effect off of one-track I have to turn the effects off on all of the tracks, accept the one i want the effects on, so i record one sound and use Edison on fl studio. I gotta sub to you, you will like my Trance.
