Excellent tutorial especially at 6:19 about additional security settings on Mac required to allow somebody to control their computer via TeamViewer.

Thank you for this. I am trying to help my Dad with his computer issues (Zoom, etc) and just installed Teamviewer then realized I needed to get a quick course in how to use it myself before I try to bring my Dad on board. This was great and I especially appreciate that your demonstration included a Mac and PC because that's the situation I'll have.

Great tutorial. I use TeamViewer for decades now, at home (to get remote access to 2 other PC's) and to help people out if they have software issues. In case they don't know what TeamViewer is about, your tutorial is very helpfull to explain how to run and use it. BW; nice wallpaper of downtown Miami on the Mac🙂

The best explanation so far. Could I ask you favour to go deeper and in more detail about how to connect to a multi-screen host so you can see them at home with a similar setup? I've been trying it out but sometimes I can´t see the remote desktop where I have my shortcuts to all my files. Another thing is that the screen I see my end is smaller and I can't make it larger. Thanks in advance.

Super verbose cringe. You already know how to spell teamviewer, or else you would not be here, isn't it? People who need this obviously have downloaded a file before in their lives. Cringe attempt to push the video past the 10 minutes mark for the KZbin algorithm. Unbearable to watch, if you have ever used a computer before.

I would highly recommend using AnyDesk. It's developed by former TeamViewer employee who do it much better. You may also want to make a video about that. It's REALLY free (even after some usage and for longer than 5 minutes) and it's much faster. If you are a commerical user or you really like it you should still buy a small license (they are also lot cheaper :) ).

If you are using it with your parent in another state, it is safe. If you want to help many people well, nothing is perfect but I find it safer than FaceBook. Each time I use it with my mother, if I get out of it or she has to restart, or it isn't just that session, it gives you a new password each and every time. So, that is safe as long as you only let people on your computer that You can trust. As far as remote help, it is as safe as it gets.
