There was a dude who used to have really long nails like this. His were curly. He cut them because he realized it was hindering his functionality. This woman should think about that. I dont understand the rationale.for this. Edit after some weeks plus research: It's possible that this woman comes from a history in which her ancestors were forced into manual labor. Long fingernails in African Americans may be a privilege that they uses to express their freedom from manual labor. long, decorated acrylics were more common in African Americans before they became mainstream. It may not be so for this particular woman, but I learned from another video on long acrylics that this may indeed be the case for many. I wish her well 🙏💕

Yep, there is no sensible rationale for disabling and limiting oneself for the sake of ( in my view) a pointless Guinness world record that adds zero to the quality of this woman's life, and wellbeing. But, I guess we all need a purpose to our oftentimes rather mundane existence. She has found hers, so for that, I can't fault her. And she appears happy!

The rationale is that when her daughter died she decided she would never cut them again, in her memory, as right before she died she painted her nails - she isn’t doing it just for no reason or just to get a Guinness world record, it’s incredibly personal

Just file them down love, then you wouldn't be in this predicament where you can't wear anything with zips, although, saying that, I can't wear trousers, leggings, jeans, with front or side fastenings now, as I'm plus size, so those sorts of trousers, skirts Etc, are non-elasticated at the waist, making them almost too uncomfortable to wear them at all.
