1. Be aware. Realize the potential of your brain. 2. Make your brain your hobby. Attend course, read and learn more about your brain. 3. Use your left and right side of brain. (Creativity uses both sides) 4. Daydream. Dream big. Have a big vision for what you want. 5. Recap. Have the attitude that you can and believe that your brain can. Daydream what you want to come true and work to make it come true.

Thinking as languistically, numbers, images, or philosophical contents, mathmatics, making stories, brainstorming, deep thoughts ...... These are what I've done and I'm doing and I'll do. I actually do it almost every seconds that I'm not in sleep mode(coursely, I don't do it at some other academic works). Use your brain as much as possible and you can construct your own methods. believe what you can do GLuck!

so right side is sensory information and the left is basically meaning that can't be seen and is usually coded by some sensory information sound when we speak word written words charts and numbers. the easy way then is if you're thinking a lot verbally (in your own time) notice yourself do it, then just choose to start imagining picture a word or just imagine touching something and feel it mentally that way you're paying attention to a sensory bit of information hence using your right brain.

Once I realize the Power of the Brain. How? Well, as a student we do a lot of things. I am better that other students (except Math) :-). Aside from that I think my realization kicks in when I do a lot of things. That this piece of meat can meet anything. I realize also that it has the strenght to overpower you. I surprisingly knew almost everything he said. I knew the top 5 if not by the term but by what I do consiously or subconsiously. Day Dreaming, it has been there and only realize it just recently. I want to remember or "Recap" (as the term you used here). That I should remember what that idea is or were. Just imagine the capacity of the brain if we use it to the full. We may not be as good as others but we can do a lot and I believe make a difference. If we just "THINK BIG" we can definitely change the world.

I have to agree (and said similar myself) with both of your comments. It's not simply lack of training, or neglect, that places limits - they are already there in the brain, and no amount of training can take the average brain and yield genius-level achievements. Vast improvement is possible, and is to be encouraged, but either Buzan is redefining "genius", or simply being disrespectful to the audience.

Sorry for my immature english skills. Anyway, one day I really really want to have more powerful brain by many meanings, so I've looked for the methods in many medias. But real helpful inspiration was from just some simple sentences : 'change images to words and words to images. Above all, you should use your brain maximally by reading books, do math etc' I got really big inspiration from this, and I trained immediately. As a result for several month training, I don't know i become genius but

iam not a scientist but iam a kid from somewhere on earth but a human. and iam not good in english and nor good in physics but love it a lot....!!! from my suggestion you should just think. thinking gives me a pleasure more than anything which i get from other. thinking weigh a lot much while in process, it ignores time, thought, fear and everything but when its finished and a expected result comes before you get shocks i mean a large ghoosebump with a lot of pleasure which can covert your bored mood into a curious mood. like to be a nerd. work on it once.

Joseph Weaver It's not about what the thoughts are about, it is about the amount within a time period. Where daydreaming is the maximum amount, meditation is minimum. Both are important in maintaining an effective brain. Forcing a kind of thoughts, like peace and love, does reprogram your brain into thinking different.

As Aldous Huxley said, 'Dream in a pragmatic way', but Gurdjeiff on the other hand spoke of daydreaming as sleep, that we are abducted by thought and we must realize when we are sleeping and that the imagination does us no good, i dont know what to make of that personally.

it's called the paradox theory, were one thing is good for you, and at the same time it's bad for you. Eating eggs is full of proteins and minerals to help you grow strong, and it also has lots of cholesterol that clogs the arteries. Exercise is good for your heart and grows muscles, and also too much exercise overworks the muscles, leading to fatigue and possible injury. Finally, too much sleep can cause stiffness in your joints and muscles, and that just enough sleep is needed for the body to heal itself. So really, the key is learning about and being aware of the balance of what you're doing and how it effects you.:)
