How to use the brand new MEE6 birthday feature (Discord)

Hello everyone I have had a comment that has been asked a lot of times how to add people’s birthdays how to add birthdays problems with it here is a list of commands that does certain functions. !remember-birthday(date of birthday remember to include - in between numbers) example !remember-birthday 02-23-1999. this is to add (your own birthday) !set-user-birthday (date of birthday remember to include - in between numbers) example !set-user-birthday 02-23-1999 @Juliet. This is to add (other/members in your server) users birthday !forget-birthday is to remove (your own birthday) !unset-user-birthday is to remove (Other users/members birthdays) make sure you mention their name. Example !unset-user-birthday @Juliet Hope this help remember to sub and join my discord link in description. This helped a lot because on the MEE6 dashboard it now shows the commands as using the / symbol before the command and that is not true. You need to use the ! symbol to get the command to work. So thanks for showing this. I don't know why it's not right in the dashboard. I tried it a dozen different ways and it didn't work. Now I see that they changed it in the dashboard but not in discord. They need to fix this. But thank you. I tried your way and it worked.

I know all of my members birthday and i added them, I also changed the time zone. But why is MEE6 not sending the msgs?

Hiya! Please ensure you have used the command correctly or if the bot isn’t responding ensure the bot has the permissions to send messages in the channel! If not ensure the bot is online at the point of using the commands.

Hey! Members can set their own birthday but they can’t set others. This is to prevent abuse of the birthday plug-in.

Sadly you’ll need to add each and everyone individually in one command. I’d recommend copying the command and pasting it in every time you wanna add a users birthday and then followed by the date etc or you could get a fellow staff member or to, to help you out!

how do you make it so OTHER people in the server can set their birthdays? Cuz only i have permission to it seems. When one of my members tried the set-user-birthday commands, it said, "you can't use that"

Make sure the user puts this command !remember-birthday (YY-DD-MM) this command will allow the user to set their (own) birthday

The admin uses the set-user-birthday for other members. Members should use remember-birthday to set their own birthday!

Hmmm I don’t think there is a feature I think the bot does ping @everyone when it is the users BDAY I am not very sure but if the bot doesn’t you can ping @everyone manually. I will test It out and reply to u when I know whether it does ping @everyone when it is the users birthday.

Yes I did but this birthday feature doesn’t require MEE6 premium to use so you do not have to buy MEE6 premium.

Ensure you’ve run the correct command! If you need help with settings your birthday or commands check the pinned comment! If you are trying to set your own birthday ensure you run a specific command to do so, again if you are setting it for someone else ensure you run the correct command!
