Yeah they're mad cool. I'd recommend the Drop Tune or the Whammy 5 though.

Watching videos of what the whammy can do cause I just bought one today. 5th gen. The reason I bought this was because 8-10 years ago, saw Morello and Buckethead used it. I don’t play their songs but figure out maybe I would one fine day. Just buying the pedal just in case they dont make them anymore if I wanna play Morello or Buckethead. 😅

I get that. I think it’s a cool pedal, but it generally doesn’t drive that much interest from people. Seems like to me that modern artists don’t really use it, with the exception of maybe Gojira. I don’t get why they aren’t able to make a much smaller version of it, because man, it’s a gigantic pedal. Would be awesome to have the Whammy Drop Tune, for example, but in a much smaller form.

The cut in the top of the shoe really made this 🙏 nah but I have been kinda thinking about buying one of these for a long time, basically because I wanted to more faithfully play Becoming, but I couldn't justify buying it for that reason alone. Knowing more about the like de/drop tuning effect though, that's pretty fire. I like to play floating trem bridges for the most part and changing tunings is evil and annoying. Thanks man

Update: just ordered a whammy DT cause it was on sale for close to the price of a Gen 5 new and seems to pretty much be the same thing with an expanded tuning change feature 🥳

I have this pedal in bias fx2, but I can't figure out how to get it in a drop D tuning... do you know how this work?

Does the foot pedal lock or something? I have one of these but I nothing happens when I step on the pedal.
