That was one of the best explanations I have seen on using ground forces. I'm a 7.7 HC and feel that I've "lost" my swing over the last two months. I'm trying to "find" it again and I think this will help in allowing me to gain a little more distance. Thank you!

I had been taught on golf course by my mate who can hit 300yds today. That's the leg actions he ask me to do, gosh, I never hit that good and far, iron or woods. It really works!

Hey from Louisiana, USA! Thank you! I’m doing the iron “throw” and now the driver “feet” move inside rn. Can’t wait to go to the range with this. I can already tell the by the whisk of the club that this does cause more speed

Great teaching, thanks

does this apply to irons too?

Kevin - you're a genius! I shot a "77" without striking it my best. The drills and feels just make me feel stable over the ball.

You’re giving me great instruction on golf! I tried this, and it worked!

Hello, I've just come across your many videos. If I was to start working on retooling my swing to increase driver distance, can you advise as to which order I should watch your videos? Thanks. Very interesting!!

Hi , can we put pressure and put as hard as we can the trail foot ?
@kmsnow62923 ай бұрын
Just watch Scottie Scheffler’s feet when he hits the driver.

I think of it as sitting on a chair with wheels and trying to push off the floor straight back. My only issue is getting the hips in the same rhythm as the club face

So the weight goes first to the left toe area and not directly to the left heel area, is that right ?
@dwboston13 ай бұрын
Yes. If it went to lead heel directly, you wouldn't be able to rotate correctly.

Scottie Sheffler pushes so hard with his trail foot that it slides behind him. Same with Greg Norman.

I’m confused. Do the arms move first in the forward swing?
@chetm123 ай бұрын
Yes they have to --- if you move your upper body first, you're going to be over the top. Move the arms down first towards your waist and then rotate through while using the ground forces.

I take lessons from Kevin. He's talking about the feel of the arms going first if you struggle with rotating and going over the top. The body goes first but your trail arm moves like it's (in his words) "losing an arm wrestle" you'll be in the slot ready to throw the club. Take a lesson with him. He's ridiculously good
@chetm123 ай бұрын
@@akiansari7291 yes correct... I should have clarified that "the feel" is the arms moving first...
@waqarghulam3548Ай бұрын
Schefler does this I think and he exaggerates it.

I tried it off the first tee with driver and my hips rotated so violently it aggravated my lower lumbar. The good was i never swung the club so fast without feeling I was using my arms. It reminded me of Tigers hips in his early days and we all know what happened to his back. I just think over time this will end up with lower back injury. Any comment?
