A lot of shows use geometric or very clean styles, and I find myself editing pencil lines often. This is super helpful! Thank you!

I've been using Harmony for a couple of years now and I had no idea about the Line Building Mode. It's so useful! I've been using the contour and cutter tools to clean up the clean up lines, like a sucker lol

Amazing! Funnily enough, I just got done cleaning up/lining my senior project yesterday. At least I know now, and can link some classmates to this video. This feature is a godsend, thank you for sharing.

Great video Ze! Will definitely try to use this technique. Something completely different: i really love the guy with the watergun at the end of the video when it is showing your works. It looks really cool with all the textures. A little behind the scenes video of these kind of textured looks would be awesome :D

oh lord, i commented about this in OnionSkin's server a few weeks back, because I couldn't remember which key you used to bend lines after drawing them, I tried to draw a line and THEN adjust it, i had no idea i had to hold the key in, because you usually speedrun your tutorials way too much, so they're super hard for me to follow (quick isn't always good!). but this saved me so much time in doing lineart!

Greetings Alex, I read your comment throughly and I have some little things to share. :) '' i commented about this in OnionSkin's server a few weeks back, because I couldn't remember which key you used to bend lines after drawing them,'' I have a discord server too ya know. ( discord.gg/CwVKq5Q) You would have had an answer in 35 seconds if you asked you question there, lol You will probably have more luck to find an answer to something that I do ...on my server, rather than asking on OnionSkin's. . . also, about the way I do my tutorials: if you are not satisfied with the way I brand or edit (aka: in a fast way, because for me and my intended audience: quick IS good.) Remember that: 1- If you are not sure about a key: you can always ask! :) 2 - If you are not okay with how fast the video goes, you can slow down the video on YOUR side! :D Here is a short tutorial on how you can slow down any video, including mine. :o kzbin.info/www/bejne/lZqUqqmhfJeon68 And, about this comment: ''you usually speedrun your tutorials way too much, so they're super hard for me to follow (quick isn't always good!)'' I don't think the intention was to ill intentioned, but honestly, that's... not... really nice? Do you imagine the opposite situation? If I (as someone who needs fast pace content to understand), came to a content creator and told them: ''you usually slowcrawl in your tutorials way too much, so they're super hard for me to follow (slow isn't always good!)'' Like... it would not be okay. I would NEVER do that. And I don't understand how people can comment stuff like this. In case it is useful, here is a lil explanation of why I do things the way I do: These tutorials are sped up for a specific reasons: 1- Most of the tutorials out there are sooo sloooooww, so a lot of people have to SPEED THEM UP. I have to speed up tutorials ALL THE TIME when I watch them. So for MY channel? I sped them up from the get go. It's my brand and what makes me happy. 2- It makes the video easier to edit 3- It allows me to maintain some sort of distance from Ze and Me. Ze is a hype chickadee with a higher voice. I am Mel, a normal human being 4- I just enjoy it! :) ''Quick isn't always good!'' .. like ... I know it's not good for everybody. (Everybody is different. I can't make content that will suit everybody. It is up to people to adapt to the content, no the other way around! ^^) I hope the slow down tutorial helps. Have a nice day! Glad my video can help you at least a little bit.

@@ZeBirdBrain I don't exactly understand why you got so defensive here. I literally said they're hard for me to follow, not that the way you do things is bad. Because sometimes I feel you could explain things a bit more and that has nothing to do with slowing your videos down. Because I already watch your videos at half the speed, often having to rewind several times. It's often very difficult for me to follow what you're doing because you don't exactly explain what you're doing- And it doesn't really help for beginners or people that aren't familiar with the program, even your beginner tutorials have been a bit difficult for me to follow since I'm so new to TB. The benefit of slower videos is that you can skip ahead while retaining the same amount of info, speedruns keep info to a minimum. But I see this is there mistake I made here. The reason i was on onion skins server is because i honestly wasn't sure if i saw that line trick on your channel, Scribble Kibbles or Stylus Rumble channels. I asked on his because again, I wasn't sure where I saw it. Again, because I follow several channels, things tend to get jumbled up. I decided to elaborate on it because you insisted on explaining why you do the things the way you do them. Again, my comment wasn't a personal attack on the way you do things, but seeing how you responded to me I'm going to have to unsubscribe. Because honestly reacting like this to a simple comment about video pacing seems a bit..immature, persona or not.
