I always used to click and drag over the mini calendar to view 2 or 3 weeks at a time, instead of standard month view (which doesn't allow me to se all of my appointments) I can't seem to do this on the new version. Do you know if this is possible or if it's been removed? Also I cannot scroll down the motnh and into the next month using my mouse scroll wheel, I can only click through viewing each month with the arrows. Seems strange for them to remove functions which I'm sure many find useful.

So glad I've discovered your tutorials. When I switched to New Outlook, it automatically included my calendar events from the previous Outlook. However, recurring events have landed on each day but without the recurring icon. How can I delete all of these without having to do it every day?

Something I found, you need to collapse the ribbon, in order to see all the appointments /events for the day, Or it will only a show a (1+) no name of appointment or event. Microsoft support says it is because with the Full ribbon, it is too large and no space available for each day on the calendar.

Thank you! Great presentation and easy to listen to. Please help... I need to view two or three months over on the side navigation bar. I've looked everywhere and can't figure out how to get more than 1 month at a time. The old version still offers this. Am I missing something? I switched to the new calendar. A bit of a learning curve but enjoying more as I become familiar.

Thank you for the video, well done. In the previous version of outlook I could print the full year calendar, in various formats (monthy or weekly), from January to December in one click. Apparently the new version does not allow it: you can just select one month at the time. Disappointing, unless I mised somenthing.

Sorry - great tutorial, for things it has. What it doesn't have is some needed features from the old calendar. Someone has mentioned the 3 calendar option, mine is the "go to date". Is there a way to go directly to a date in the past or future? Or do you just have to scroll (annoying when it's more than a couple of months away)

Hi thank you for your tips and tricks. Is it possible that location is not always working yet? In the old version while typing in the window location I saw options like in google maps ? Same for the date, in the old version you could write tomorrow instead of the date, but it doesn't seem to work in the new version, using words instead of dates. Thank you.

do you know how to set the taskbar's calendar to be syncing to the new outlooks events? it only has the ones from the old version :/ and its getting annoying having to open the outlook app all the time just to edit an event to include more details

I've been using the Microsoft calendar for years for my google calendar because I like that it pops up on the desktop when I have an appointment at a specific time. It's now making me use the new outlook for this. Is there a way to have the desktop notifications without having to keep the application open? I can't figure that out. I use the old Outlook for my business email/calendar but those calendar reminder are more so day specific and not time specific. Any help would be great!

Appreciate the content. I'm trying to edit the left ribbon (task bar?) to include Microsoft To Do. I would like my view to match what you have. I currently don't have the To Do app in more options. I do have the To Do app in the main task bar at the bottom. Any suggestions??

Thank you for the video - nicely presented. There is a feature you mentioned in the video - email reminders for new events. I cannot for the life of me get this setup on the stand alone version of Outlook. It does seem to be available on the Web version but I'm less than impressed with how it works for me. I've looked at settings and according to the help system it should be visible but it doesn't appear at the bottom of the dropdown for reminder times. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Hi I do not work (retired), the main feature I use in Classic outlook is the Calendar for all my daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly appointments (I cannot function without my calendar - So teams, emails etc. are not important. But I use emails sometimes as well as Gmail. I did switch to the new outlook, but I did not like it - so many features of the calendar are missing. I switched back to the classic outlook. My question is when I am forced to use the new outlook, are all my appointments / reminders will transfer over, also the customized quick access bar exists?? Currently my outlook (MS office 365) is linked to iCloud for windows, So I have access to my calendar on my iPhone, my laptop and Desktop which helps me to add or update any appointment in any of the 3 that I use at home or if I am out and add new appointment on my iPhone - would this feature will exist ?

In the Outlook calendar, past events keep deleting the next day. For example, I had 3 events yesterday, but when I loaded Outlook calendar today, yesterday is empty and the 3 events were deleted. Any way to tell Outlook calendar to keep all past events? Thank you :)

hey Jamie here's my issue I manage a law firm so I have like 12 to 15 Calendars on my outlook some are mine and the others are the lawyers, I only wanna see 4 of my lawyers Calendars I'm consistently switching back and forth to calendar and mail view and when I switch back it adds other calendar views that I don't need to see at the moment, I still need to keep them but I don't want them to be displayed when I click on it I just need them to stay dormant and view them as I need to. sometimes 2 or 4 of them will show up when I switch over and its getting aggravating cause then I need to close the ones I done need so I can see the 4 I need to clearly

Your presentation was very informative. But, I have been spending hours trying to learn how to increase the volume when a reminder pops up from my calendar. If I'm not looking at the calendar, the reminder is ignored. Please be very specific about steps to do this.

I love the new outlook but I cannot believe they removed the possibility to colour code the events in the calendar. Calendars have different colours but not events. I think it is a dealbreaker for me.

The single-click new event behavior is really clunky and the simplified window is not very useful. I'm aware I can double-click to pull up the full new event window, but the huge annoyance is that the simplified window does not immediately go away after I complete entry in the full window and save. So it's an extra (and unnecessary) click to dismiss the simplified window. My question: is there a way to completely turn off the single-click behavior? This is my single biggest pain point (out of many). May seem minor, but seems like a huge oversight not to at least allow this behavior to be configurable.

Why am I seeing in the monthly view dates as (1 . 1 - 2 . 2 - 3 . 3 etc) the 1st, the 2nd, the 3rd or day 1-2-3 etc? This is driving me crazy. All I want is a simple calendar for personal use. I've been using MS calendars for over 20 yrs. Not hard to figure out and very easy to send myself an email reminder for a Dr's appt, birthday, a family get together but now they've made it so bulky...click the wrong thing and you end up with a mess. If anyone knows why the days doubled like I showed above, and how to fix it I would be very thankful. My searching has told me it's happening to others based on the help forums.

Terrible platform, they left out the 2 week preview. unless they include that I will never use this calendar. I need to be able to grab and drag events to new dates , this platform makes it impossible. Not a fan. I will stick with the old until they resolve this and if they don't, I will have to find something else to use. I cant be limited to seeing just one week s-sat. this will not work for me.
