I have one and just used it tonight, wow, can go fast. I didn't know that you could also use a straight needle. Thank you.

Had this been around when I was in high school and college, it wouldn't have taken me so long. I was tryin to figure out how to do multiples, so would use piece of paper, bent and put beads on the inside of paper along the creased line. This almost makes me want to start working with beads again, if only I could have a safe work space away from my kids.

Lol work smarter, not harder, right? It's amazing how much this little bowl can speed up seed bead stringing. Maybe when the kids are a little older it will be safer :)

You know, a very simple clear domed cap with a tiny hole to thread the thread&needles through seems too common sense, those jumping seed beads...they aren’t cheap!

Looks like clockwise, not counter-clockwise???? Does it make a difference?

It really doesn't.

i would like to know how to put the smaller beads on it using S-Lon thread. It only works for larger beads.
@firemountaingemscustomerse77628 жыл бұрын
+Elaine Simmons The Speedy Stringer is designed for use with smaller beads. You'll need to use a thread that will accommodate the bead holes to ensure they easily slide from the needle onto the thread.

If I'm using a thin stretch elastic, will this work?
@firemountaingemscustomerse77628 жыл бұрын
+J Carter You can use a stretch elastic on the J needle with this tool. Just keep in mind the diameter of the stretch elastic must be small enough to accommodate the bead holes.

Can I do this on stretchy string?
@FireMountainGems4 жыл бұрын
Hi Mandy. Great question. This tool doesn't really work well with stretch cord. Thanks for watching.

I ordered this and honestly feel I go faster by hand. I wasted just as much time trying to make this stupid beader work when u could already had my bead piece finished. The needle is so flimsy it bends in the bowl and jumps around. I mixed beads to fill up the bowl thinking I didnt put enough in there when all I got for my trouble is all of my color coordinated beads mixed up.... I shoulda saved my money
@FireMountainGems5 жыл бұрын
We're sorry to hear that this didn't work out for you. You only want to fill the bowl about 2/3rd's full and once you've got about 2 inches of beads on the needle, you'll want to lift the needle up and slide the beads down the thread.
