just export the existing patch externally into a file. the reimport it into an empty patch

Thank you for the effort. It is very informative. I have this too. Have you tried using the FX Loop? I am getting a consistently weird result.

Yes I have tried the fx loop. As you say, a bit weird. It is cool that you can place it in any position on the chain and tbh I have managed to get it to work great for me. Parallel is dodgy and weird but serial is pretty ok and works as expected.

Hi! Great video! Could you maybe help me? Im having some troubles with the software, i downloaded it, and then it worked fine. But after I installed the Asio Driver V5.41.2 my editing software isnt working. I tried deleting the Asio driver as well as the GP software, then reinstalled the GP Software but it just keeps on not connecting.

@@Raptorialand weirdly, a few days later after again restatring the laptop and the valeton it worked, and now it just keeps on working. I contacted valeton it self, they didn’t know how to fix it. But im all happy now

Nope, but some of the reverbs are pretty long so that might be an option, delay into long reverb. Current firmware does not allow two reverbs to be applied.

Hi, can you create a brand new patch from empty slot or do you have to overwrite an existing one?

I just checked the video. The patch I create is on an empty patch number. If you go all the way past the factory presets you get to open/empty patch numbers that you can use. You can then move them up or down the list as you require.

No selling patches on free software is not wrong, he took the time to learn how to make them ,you can buy them or not. Is like getting mad at someone for selling a video he edited with software he didn’t create, but he got for free with no restrictions like say Davinci Resolve.

You don't actually delete them, you just clear them by right clicking and choosing clear and the name returns to "It's GP-200".

Anyone else had problems with this software? I downloaded it and installed it. the software worked fine, but when I started my pc the next day it was very slow to startup. I thought that I had a virus, but after running some virus checkers nothing showed up. today i started the pc, and it was fine. However, as soon as i tried to open this software, the pc locked. I managed to restart my pc and again it was fine, but when i tried to start the software, again it locked. I uninstalled it, and I noticed that it is 32bit. Now I am wondering if that was the problem. anyway, the software is gone and my pc is fine again.

I think it's funny you sell NAM patches. Kind of like big disrespect to the Developer who gave you the program for free. You ever think of this? 🤣

Generally I agree with you however things are not always that simple. Firstly I sell captures of my own pedals, a way to allow folks to have those tones for cheap. I added the Bandit capture to the mix because most of the demos were done through it. I put a lot of time and effort in designing and building my pedals, that is worth something. Secondly it is my way of funding my KZbin efforts instead of just asking for donations, I offer folk something for (to be fair) a very low token price. And if you want to talk about disrespect, think about the time, money and effort that goes into designing amps and speakers, employing people, setting up markets and distributions, only for folk to capture them and give them away free as captures... or sometimes even selling them for a premium. Down the rabbit hole it is wonderful that some folk make great products for free (like NAM) but it also opens up plagiarism in excessive scales. I know the pedal and amp folk live in a different universe when it comes to copyright but I think I am old school when it comes to designing and protecting that. I do myself cross the line often and that haunts me a little bit. Back to the topic, just because one person is happy to give away their hard work for free doesn't mean someone else is or should. And folks should not always expect others hard work for free either. Time and knowledge should also be respected and the only currency we have that is worth anything in unfortunately money. You have made me think though that maybe giving the pedal captures away for free might be a way of selling the real items. I thanks you for that and I will toil it over.
