Great video. Great work. Please be careful flying from inside a fully closed vehicle. One low flying helicopter in such an urban location could be deathly disastrous for a pilot, crew, and dozens of people on the street. Without being able to keep an eye on the area surrounding the drone and being able to listen for other aircraft, the response time is very short if any. I was quite nervous for the safety of the operation, but your result for the demo was great. Keep on creating. Thanks for the demo. Love you man.

Great tutorial! The one thing I noticed with the fade transition is that you need more overlap to make sure it fades where you intended to do the switch. maybe a couple seconds extra on each of the day and night clips required to have the perfect fade transition.

Great! This looks really nice! But I have two questions: is it important to start exactly from the same point when I do the second clip? Or do the drone don`t find the first waypoint if I start from a different location? Maybe it is not possible to mark the starting point or find the exact position again (without spray). I think this idea with the waypoints is also interesting to use at different weather conditions (summer/fall/winter/spring) etc. What kind of light do you have on top of your Mavic Air 2?
@kristof0072 жыл бұрын
The drone flies to starting point (or ending point if you are doing it in reverse). If you are talking about the actual clips, it's easier to line it up on a computer with a multitrack video editor since both clips will be 10 seconds (or whatever you set it to) so you can cut with precision.

@@xavier_arthur Yes we can pre-program the trajectory and the altitude easier to do Mapping with Mavic Air 2 we are very much restricted no free movement making things difficult eg. Mapping in Waypoint Mission Planner in the Autel. What's a fantastic Free Tool for EVO II Series. If you want to do that with DJI! Mavic Air 2 is very much restricted. DJI offers you alternative's at a High costs. Restrictions in my books can be seen as evil for one goal in mind.

Cool. Let me ask this. How precise is that Waypoint ? Ok, so lets say - if I take the drone and very carefully fly it though my house - or maybe even hold it in my hand and walk with it - through doors and windows, under the table, etc - and mark each point where I want the drone to fly and save the flight data as usual. Then retrieve the flight route / data from saved memory and fly it again - this time at higher speed. Will it fly through doors, windows, under table etc ? Hope it makes sense :) . Thanks !

Tried my first hyperlapse today.........your video was extremely helpful and the Air 2 flew the path.......but I must be missing something..............after it got to the second way point, all the images captured after that had the camera pointing in the wrong direction...........do I need to fly to a point, set it, rotate the craft and set another point before moving to the next location? To explain, I set a waypoint right above me, then flew straight west for 200 feet, stopped and set a waypoint, then turned and flew north for 200 feet, stopped and set the third point. But in the recording, the camera is still pointing west as the craft flew north from the second to the third point. Your advise would be greatly appreciated!
