The pizza stone instructions say not to use the sear zone

Hi Brian, I used the sear zone burner to speed up my warm up time. once it reached temp, I shut it off and cooked with the 2 standard burners(I should have mentioned that). Chef Jason

I am confused needed from kit . Why could not lay stone on top grates

Hi Dawn, the grates tend to take away a lot of the heat, this is meant to work without grates. Chef Jason
