I like this product, however I find the cos-11’s slip out of the fur quite easily underneath clothing when there is a lot of movement.

Hey Bignutz75, the Windbubbles are great at preventing wind, though were never designed for concealing mics under clothing so you'd ideally need a better anchor point. Check out our Lav Concealer and Outdoor Fur combination as a better idea: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y5rLY5WfmZyNatU It's what we use in our Windchasers series: www.bubblebeeindustries.com/windchasers ;)

I've been struggling with putting the bubble over the COS 11 metal windscreen but you are stating that that isn't necessary and that the bubble will protect against wind without metal windscreen?

Irv Reinhard Dear Irv Reinhard. The Bubbles are built for different microphone sizes. For Sanken COS 11: If you use the BBI-L01 then / you can not use metal windscreen as supplied from Sanken. But if you would like to use this opportunity, with a Sanken metal windscreen under so you will need an L02 or L03. Hope this makes sense, otherwise write in my inbox mail. info@bubblebeeindustries.com Thanks interest Irv Best Poul

With an mke2 mic do I need to add the caps first before applying the bubble. Or can I use them on a bare mic with no pop cap

You can use them on the bare mic, for sure. In heavier winds you might want to add the MZC 2-1 and the MZC 2-2 would still work well to boost the upper frequencies which would prevent any suppression of these frequencies by covering the mic up (always a plus for dialogue).

Will this work best for car exhaust noises ? At a high rate of wind mph speed
@bubblebeeindustries
@bubblebeeindustries 3 жыл бұрын
Hey! Sure, a lot of people ask if this will ‘work’, and yes, it absolutely will, as long as by ‘work’, you mean ‘reclaim dynamic range that would have otherwise been lost to excessive wind pressure on the capsule’. What the Windbubble does is solid, though like everything, they have their limits. Car exhaust is no problem, however, as it has the added benefit of being at the back side of a big solid object which is acting as a wind break to the main force and direction of wind. We’ve even tested these on a motorcycle hitting pretty high speeds where a Windbubble and a little clever use of the fairing for placement can achieve wondrous things. We hope this helps! Have a windy day! :) Here’s that bike video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/lWnCpmujaMSpr80

I have had numerous systems ..... rycote ( is this ok to say so or will some rycote dude not like that ?) , some weird other company, all of them were "ok", but once the wind started it felt odd, or didnt work at all ..... none were so nicely made ( so unbelievable furry - I even have to tell the Talent to stop playing with my bubblebee ( i take cash penalties for messing with the bubblebee now)...... the wind protection is to say the least: perfect. Like DPA , Bubblebee - denmark audio engineering .... dont have it ? get it !
