For people that feel like their charts are getting cluttered with drawings... Remember that you can save charts under a different name. So for example I can save a chart called Spy1 for intraday trading which is very clean and just has levels. Then I can have a chart called Spy2 which has my trend lines, fib levels, etc. So if I'm trading the Spy I'll have these two charts open and tab between them. So I can trade the clean intraday chart on a 5 minute time frame but then tab over to the 30 minute chart with fibonacci's etc. for big picture stuff.

Thank you for everything you do and show. I only watched the first few minutes, so I can't say much. I would add (if it wasn't mentioned later on): You can lock/unlock auto on price-scale by scrolling with mouse-wheel while mouse is on the scale. I think you can show all the options on the tools by right-clicking them. Just some things people might prefer.

1. Yes, just save the indicator as a new default by changing the styles as a new template. Should stay active that way. Wont have to reset every time. 2. I would just use a the fib tool with only the 50% retrace visible. Also the measuring tool automatically includes a 50% mark. Hope this helps!

@TradeBrigade
@TradeBrigade Жыл бұрын
If you have magnet mode off it shouldnt snap anywhere. It should be guided by your cursor, not the OHLC of any given bar. This is an odd one and may have to do with your screen resolution / refresh rate throwing things off, not so much the platform itself. Just double check magnet mode is off, and its not secretly on soft magnet. The icon is the same.

Thanks for the feedback Spyros, I think that as TV has been updating their platform, some of these legacy features dont work exactly as described. However, for the most part the strength of the platform comes from the templates, object tree, and pinescript. Perhaps I'll have to do an updated version of this for 2024.

Try a hard refresh on the platform. There should be a dot, arrow, or cross depending on what the very first tool selection is on the platform.

Under styles, just uncheck background. That should get rid of any hilighting.

How to draw horizontal lines with specific increments automatically? Let's say, first line of AAPL at USD 200, and then always another line at for example USD 4 difference, i.e. USD 204, 208, 212 ,etc.? Drawing everything manually, i.e. drawing many lines is too slow.
