How to use Tymlos

I'm a visual learner & I found this to be more helpful than the written instructions in the box , even though there were drawings of each step. I wondered if the numbers counted down from 30 doses to 0 (calendar month) but I guess not.

Thank you for this demonstration. I work at a doctors office and found the paper instructions difficult to understand. This is so much easier to comprehend. Now I’m confidently able to explain the steps to my pts..

Our pen, the cap doesn't twist. Instead of fighting it, just gently pull it straight off to get to the 2nd needle cap.

THANK YOU (Why the manufacturer didn't make a video for a very expensive drug...?) Exactly as in the directions except - don't fan tne injection site to dry the alcohol. Also, don't blow on it.

I just received my medicine today and was wondering if their was a group that talks about their experience with TYMLOS. I'm worried about side effects. Any suggestions? Please and thank you

You left out a critical step. One must release a drop for the first dose of a new pen.

When pulled off, there is a white needle cap. The needle isn’t exposed.

READ THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE FIRST TIME USEAGE. There's a lot of info that this video leaves out, including priming the pen and air bubbles. Air bubbles can cause a possibly fatal situation if not dealt with.

while it is of course important to read the full instructions & to prime the pen to ensure proper dosing, the likelihood of air bubbles in this type of device being fatal is next to zero.

Is the stomach area the only area one can use for injecting this medication?

It should be done in lower stomach area or abdomen.

The video is good, but the sound quality -- I can barely hear the speaker. I have my volume turned up all the way. Wish you could refilm it with better sound quality.

Steps are left out such as you need to prime the pen before injecting for the first time & flick to make sure any bubbles move to the top. I’d find a better video
