Hi Serge! A topic I have never seen a video on is how full time drivers are writing down so many miles that they show very little net income which means they pay little to NO taxes which means they will get little to NO Social Security because they aren't putting enough into the system. This is financial collateral damage that most drivers don't even think about. My tax person brought this to my attention and it made me angry. These companies are fucking US in perpetuity. My tax person suggested I setup a Roth IRA because if not I am falling behind fiscally for my retirement years. How does that sound!?

I actually live in a rural are where just to get a trip I’ve got to drive 10 to 14 miles just to be in the area. Then thankfully I bought a hybrid car! I was losing my buns. So when one lives in a country area it is easy to add up miles fast. My tax man flipped over 50k in one year 😂😂😂 I get a trip from point A to point B and it was a 4.00 order. The trip was 21 miles one way! Then I had to head back 21 miles so I lost on this trip. Go figure? If you decline it Uber puts a strike on your %% base. Can anyone that lives in the country explain to the motor bikers how many miles in one month can be ran up? I bought a car April 1 and the Odom read 126k. It’s now May and I’m over 132k

People who drive Uber full time are the kind that desperately want to AVOID actually working , but don't understand that driving IS work.. The ONLY person doing what you refer to as collateral damage to you IS YOU. As a driver you are sub contracting yourself out , and you have the responsibility of filing and paying all income taxes . Uber DOES supply ALL of your income information , YOU are responsible by law for filing and paying. It's up to YOU to keep and file all records pertaining to vehicle operating and maintenance costs.

That's definitely nowhere near average pay. Also that is gross pay so remember the operation cost of any car will be in the range of $0.30 to $0.45 per mile which brings net earning to about half of gross.

Pull over, or at a stoplight, sweep up (may have to do twice) to reveal the red stop requests button. Push the button. Sweep down to return to your ride.

Yes, that's the destination filter. But you can only do that twice in one day. See 1:11 in this video.

Just to let you all know... The website that lists eligible vehicles for comfort, black, lux is not accurate. It says updated in 2024, but Uber will deny you AFTER you drive your required trips, even if your car is listed on the website in your area. They just did it to me. Now I am stuck in uber x, driving a 2016 Audi quattro that is listed as comfort on the website in my city... We need more options than these two companies.

Im about to rent a car through them just to bank another $2,000 to buy a nice used car. I know ppl making $1,600 a wk but I just wanna have a car 24/7 will working to make $260 for the car an gas another $150 and get $5-800 in the bank. Hopefully anyone driving in MN watches this quick. I started Uber couple of months ago as a last resort. I was wrongfully terminated from a contract job only about a quarter of the way thru length of contract and was dealing with unemployment hearings etc while looking for another full-time job. Uber has been a life saver its allowed me to purchase food with no other income, keep wifi on so i can job hunt, and multiple other ways. I would like to ask all the drivers in MN that complained about the pay, and your delusional oppression caused upon you by Uber are you happy with the result of your crocodile tears?
