it is a good demo and flexibility. On the other hand, I suggest if you can do a complete video explaining in detail the NDI tools, and how to properly use them. I have not seen any in-depth explanation of the tools.

why do you have the HD capture for iphone but you cant get the virtual input for mac? how are you supposed to use your phone as a webcam if you have a mac?

dear team, hope you're well and safe during this time - what's the MacOS equivalent for virtual input - I've downloaded the SDI tools pac and iPhone App - but can't get it too connect to zoom as the VI is missing on Mac?

I have the same problem. And judging from the fact you posted this comment 2 weeks ago, there's no light at the end of the tunnel for us mac users..

Hi, i was using a window 10 laptop for my vmix and on the same laptop, i can see the Newtek NDI video. However, when i was trying to get the NDI video from the window 10 laptop to my MacBook pro, i cannot see the "Newtek NDI video" but instead it's NDI video only. I tried select that and it's not working.

Awesome, works great on windows and OSX (catalina as well). Is there an equiv for linux? Currently I use vl42loopback and deal with the audio in a similar fashion using pulseaudio... but those worlds are a bit annoying to teach new folks how to do... is there an NDI virtual input for linux to super simplify the effort, but get the really cool benefit of being totally network aware....?

Greetings, nice video! However, I am using the last version of Skype that supports NDI input, and when I initiate a call to Skype with the input set to an NDI stream, it nearly always drops it immediately. The Skype/NDI virtual input connection seems very buggy. I am on a Mac using Catalina. Thanks!

I've installed whole NDI Tools package and did everything exactly like in the video. I can see my video in Studio Monitor but the Virtual Input just doesn't work. No software sees any "webcam" connected. Even in device manager I can only see NewTek NDI Audio, but no Video. Camera app, Skype, Zoom, Hangouts. Nothing detects a webcam. How can I fix that? I tried reinstalling NDI Tools but it doesn't change anything.

interesting ... I haven't seen this issue personally but try disabling firewalls. that may help. if it doesn't contact our support team so we can help get you fixed up :)

I have Skype version 8.56.0.102 on my high-end Laptop. I have enabled "allow NDI usage" in Skype. In NDI vitual input I have selected appropriate source for Skype Live..... Still I am not able to get data (audio & Video) from Skype Call... Can you help me.. OBS Studio NDI Source also show the relevant Skype source/device... but No Data is visible. Can you help me.

I ran into a similar problem recently with my version of skype. try uninstalling and reinstalling skype. that did the trick for me. if that doesn't contact our support staff as there may be something more complicated going on www.newtek.com/support/get-support/

Hi Ben, I ran into a similar problem with that and thought "oh no!" i did a reinstall of skype and now it is working. worth a shot :)

There is no longer a "virtual input" option from NDI tools. There is a webcam input option. THIS VIDEO IS OUT OF DATE AND WILL NOT WORK!

correct. This application has been updated since this video was filmed. New videos are under production and will be released soon :)
