Had the S89C for 2 months now and it is a beast. Paired it with a Q990C and what a match. I have no issues with Tizen and I see many complain about it. Coming from a x900e Sony with Android, that system was soooo laggy. I constantly would have to do a soft reboot because it would always drop out of WiFi. One small grip on the new S89C is the remote. The remote itself is fine, but it has been dropped a few times and my hardwood floors have now caused the remote not to hold a charge. Oh well I guess that’s the cost of business for being clumsy, but it would be nice if these manufacturers would include a more substantial remote.

Congrats! I also got the q990c last week and now thinking about the S89c. Is it bright enough to overcome glare in day time viewing? (I'm upgrading from C1 Oled for context)

@@kasramoghaddam1389 hello. The S89C is very bright. In fact I have had to dim the brightness a touch. I think you will be very happy with the S89C and the price especially. It’s the best OLED deal out there. Out of. The box the picture quality has been fantastic. If you are a gamer it truly is an experience.

Only for 2023 Samsung TV's so far. They will start rolling out Tizen 8.0 for 2023 Samsung TV's from about mid October.

have you figured out how to disable or hide TV Plus? I no longer setup wifi on my Samsung TVs because of this very intrusive and annoying feature. We need app only mode.

Don't see why the Color Booster feature can't be added to the 2023 tvs. Though what is it doing different than just increasing the Color slider?

It might. I was watching a video recently displaying the 2024 TV models and a source from Samsung claimed that all Samsung TVs within the past 5 model years should receive the new Tizen OS update. Color booster is really just a feature so I'd imagine if you get the new Tizen OS version in an update it will come with that as well, but we'll just have to wait and see. Personally I couldn't care less about color booster, I don't like my TV being over saturated with color, which is the same reason why I turn contrast enhancer off.

Interesting. Still liking my S90C you recommended. Only thing wishing knew was how to correct the “yellowish” skin tones(on cheeks or necks) /bright yellows. Setting is on cool.

The latest frimware did change the font and UI color at least it did for my Q60C, but it's still running on Tizen OS v7.0. now I've watched a video recently from Samsung's 2024 TV lineup, in which the guy in the video stated that every QLED made from 2019 onward will eventually get the latest Tizen OS this year, according to someone who works for Samsung, but we will have to wait and see.

Go to downloaded apps -> long press middle select button -> add to home screen. This should help, I was also facing same issue.

Hi, I have some questions. Why are some channels on Samsung CU8000 TV speak Spanish instead of English language such as FX or Sunday night football ? How can I fix it ? The reason that some channels switch back to Spanish language is because of broadcasting ? The broadcasting is unavoidable ; how can I turn it on? Please help, thanks

I have the S95C. But I have on the Hub screen a kind of logo with a person in shadow on it beside "Apps" option, you can click on it, but dont know what it is for? Or how to delete it. Anyone?

That's a space for an advertisement. It tends to come on and off.

I absolutely HATE this new system. The last UI was so much better for switching between apps and sources. Having to go to a full screen is disruptive and irritating.

I believe you have to hold down one of the buttons for 3 seconds to have the source menu pop up

I thought the WebOS was bad. Were it not for the Frame’s art mode, I would abandon it altogether for Apple TV4K. Heck, I’d take Android or Roku over this.
