How to Vacuum Pack Fresh Seafood - Fish & Shrimp

There is nothing better than eating fresh fish and shrimp for dinner but what if you have more than you can eat in one sitting? Well why not try the vacuum packer. In my opinion this is the only way to go! This machine pulls most of the air away from you're catch so that it doesn't get freezer burned. I have kept seafood in the freezer for upwards of one year. What about of I individually freeze shrimp and then vacuum sealed it once frozen?

I generally put the vacuum packed shrimp in the freezer and it will stay good for at least a year.

You could have vaccum sealed when you posted this comment and it would possibly still be fine today. Vacuum sealed shrimp can last up to 2 years 🎉😂
