After hearing this great advice, it seems there should be a price list kept as supplies are ordered by us from various suppliers. The spreadsheet is wonderful and will be helpful. Thank you again Andrea!

That is a great way to manage and track costs Paula. I am envisioning more of an inventory system that could be used to assign an average cost to each item for a specified period of time.

Do you have a video on how to photograph tote bags to sell?
@sharonvonsee31642 жыл бұрын
This advice is greatly appreciated! I gift many bags and am often asked, “how much”?! The price of my time added to the cost of materials sounds high to me which is why I haven’t tried selling more than the few that I have sold.

I know what you mean. Also when selling you need to have product insurance and that’s basically the price of three to four bags for me. Giving a bag as gift is very satisfying so it’s not all about making money.❤️🇬🇧

Hello, Just started making tote bags and they are actually really really nice, I've worked out all the flaws and now looking to sell now. One of the biggest challenges is the pricing, its not even the sewing part of it that's challenging hahah . I started with masks about a year ago, before that I had never touched a sewing machine. Ha I have fallen in love with bag making. Oh and the amount of support within the community is everything. :) where can i get a copy of that spreadsheet? Thank you for your tips and knowledge.

What do you do with pieces that just won't sell? I have a box full of items and I have run out of people to give them to.

I have had a custom handmade handbag design which is helpful to women (since 2019). No one has helped me because I can’t afford to pay wholesaler prices… Can anyone help me bring my design into reality please?
