i have bean doing this for years to my tires, why its not done in factory? but do not use scissors, sharp corners will cause tears at high speed

Okay Traxxas support, but what about other tires and also for water drainage? I've got the vxl Rustler and Stampede and have always have problems getting water out of them. I run them on the beach too here in Daytona Beach.

The tire tread venting holes they recommended will help get, and keep, water out via centrifugal force.

I cover the wheel breather hole with liquid electrical tape or hot glue seems to work well
