A detailed tutorial on how to cut a lace when making a closure is linked below kzbin.info/www/bejne/gXbPZKqNo612rsU
@lavenderloco Жыл бұрын
Hi, may I ask something off-topic? I have recently seen a video that the lace you use for your frontal or closure, the more stretchy side of the lace, should face the ears and the less stretchy side should face to the front of the head. Is that true? Or can you use the lace any way? And if I want to do a Dutch braid wig, how should the lace lay? I don't want to try a full 360 just the middle part of the head. I want lace and the sides i want cap. How should I line it up?
@AkarueseBawoАй бұрын
Hi dear, just seeing this, yes it is true.
@AkarueseBawoАй бұрын
Some laces are quite stretchy and in such instance, the stretchy side has to be the ear to ear. If its the patting it will not sit well on your head, will be harder to fix when torn and just generally not the best

I learnt how to ventilate from this video. I use single knotting for braid wig closure, its fast easy and because the hair is braided you will not experince the cons of single knoting. I use double split knotting for wig clusures because its the best technique of ventilating like you'v explained , its just not so convenient to do like the single knotting technique

Cutting the short return is a big no no as it will leave very short, stubborn and unable to bend hairs on the closure or the longer once will start pulling out from under if it is cut too short

I used normal double knot there for 3 major reasons 1. I was filming and couldn’t really use split knot there as I wanted to be fast 2. I hadn’t really perfected my split knotting 3. This was a normal center parting closure. If it is a wide closure that has a hairline then I would have still used the split knot
