There isn't one. You're trading useful low end torque for a few HP up top. A detriment to anyone who doesn't run around at redline everywhere they go. It's actually a step backwards.

Yes it will alter your mileage and emissions. Its a buttery valve that opens under load and low rpm's to give more flow to engine when accelerating under 2500 rpm. I am not sure why people on KZbin think they are smarter than engineers who research, test and design these cars and functions lke this.

Once the vias solenoid is deleted the check engine light will remain on. The eye sore so to speak will not even be seen especially if the engine cover is going back on like u stated u were doing. Senseless

Wouldn't say it's a pointless mod just leave everything on and just plug up the vias hose. I did this and it feels like a vtec after 4k rpms. I did not notice any low end torque loss.

@@allenrachal I agree with you I put block off plate on my Maxima but left the rest of the vias assembly plugged up and capped the hose now my Maxima pulls much harder in high rpm just like when VTEC kicks in on Honda engines definitely a good mod investment never knew the VQ3.5 v6 had such a performance restriction when kept completely stock

The person that made this video has a right to do what EVER he wants to his car. Only a fool would not know that. However, to suggest that ANY one else should do this borders on criminal. Engineers have spent untold hours and money engineering these modern day "gems". They have forgotten more than most will ever know. Considering the tight competitive auto world; NO auto maker is going to put something on a car; where they could save many dollars by NOT using the part; IF it did not need it. GAR-OWN-TEED! For those of you that wish to do this, that is your right. But I would suggest that you do this with much thought before you do it.
