Dude im so thankful i found this video you have no idea. Have all of these issues right now on my 2018 gt350 and now i know why my engine sounds the way it does sometimes at low rpm and light throttle. Its annoyed the sht out of me for a year but never had a code until now. Im going to be thrilled if the wierd noise goes away!

I had the issue for month...best trick I did that work and made the car work super find and work nice with lil gas on the pedal...is unplug the intake manifold runner solenoid and unplug the tube ....these will make the flap stay open for fresh air....and the throttle will do its job on it's own.... Engine runs fine 💪 those flap just restrict you from power and air.....it's like u jailbreak all the horse the engine can produce...fuel went from 18 mpg to 19 mpg.... So it's not a bad thing...

Finally fixed the issue. Nut on the runner shaft backed off so there was alot of slop. I dont like the way it is now i swear the car feels slower. Im removing this bs system. Fck the govt they can keep their hands off our cars.

Hello, I have a 2011 Dodge Caliber 2.0 liter engine. This size of engine does not seem to have an Intake Manifold Runner Control. I recently installed a rebuilt or surplus Engine Control (computer)...a licensed tech did the installation and code troubleshooting. Anyway, when the tech left my home, this was an at-home work order, the car was cranking and starting. It took me about an hour to put reinstall the wiring for I had been doing some troubleshooting on the relays and connections to see if there was any corrosion build up - there was none. When I finally had the car to street running level, I took it out for a spin. The car did not want to run past 10 to 15 miles per hour. It had near zero performance. I quickly contacted the tech and he told me it was the intake manifold runner sensor for the check engine light was on and the codes said so. Today, Friday, July 26th, 2024, I have been looking all over for the this intake runner sensor. This car does not seem to have one. Thank you for the video.

As I’ve changed this part numerous times, pretty much: if it’s not a vacuum leak, it’s this piece of garbage Honda put in the intake manifold. The only replacement part is a doorman so keep your receipt too

Kia/hyundai has 10year/100,000mi warranty… because that’s all they expect their cars to last. If you have a Hyundai over 10 years old, trash day is usually weekly. If you love your car that’s cool, but as a mechanic, all Korean cars are junk, period

2017 f150 302 has all symptoms accept for fault code. im thinking the actuators are working but i have a broken or stuck mechanical part, or maybe a vac leak. my clattering noise is intermittent. some days it makes noise other days it doesnt. either way the low rpm loss of power, rough idle, and poor fuel economy symptoms are everpresent

It’s the vacuum bushing. It’s a little plastic retainer bushing that keeps the rods moving. Those break and the metal rod falls out of its spot. Causing the valve to be stuck open or closed

Be careful about the chattering, just had to rebuild my subaru engine because a piece of a runner valve fell into the intake valve.

Very nice video thanks! I have an 08 Jeep Compass 4x4. I'm going crazy here trying 2 figure my issue out maybe u can guide me in the right direction if you don't mind. My intake manifold runner control valve was stuck, I bought the part and installed it. After I installed it and put everything back together the way it was, my Compass won't start at all. I turn on the switch, the red lightning bolt light comes on the dash for a few seconds then it goes away while the check engine light flashes also for a few secs and it becomes steady. The only code I have now is P0032 for an 02 sensor but nothing on my issue. What can the issue be? Any thoughts? Thanks for your time!

Honda accord 2 0t I have this issue where when I give the car medium throttle, the rpms start sounding like a growling noise only from 2-3krpm. If I go heavy throttle or wide open throttle, the rpms sound normal and the growling doesn't occur at all. I've been looking at all of your videos trying to figure out what is making the noise.

You think a p2004, manifold stuck open,, leads to a p0765 shift solenoid d malfunction? Have p2004, actuator, solenoid and wiring is fine but I'm sure my swirl flap broke off and busted a spark plug. Fixed the spark plug but not the p2004 problem because I can't get this manifold out, cant reach the middle bolt.. Now I got p0765 with overdrive not working, is that a limp mode caused by the p2004 or are they two separate things?

They might not have nothing electronic but I see on the Isuzu rodeo and jeep around 90s and close 2000 have a flap inside the aluminum manifold control by a spring when u accelerate the flap open and close on deceleration...so if dirt or grease get in their can cause a hesitation....if u evaluate the car good and check if any lil cable on the manifold that would be it to open the flap....what I would do it jack it open and u will unlock full performance power....
