Today i tried Wall walk for the first time . I could do 3 reps with perfect form . I enjoyed though it was a bit difficult but i enjoyed and it encouraged me to do more. Interesting point is my age is 67 now and living retired life doing varied exercises .

Great demonstration and explanation of what should be done in a wall walk as well as what to avoid. Good pointers as well! Thanks for the video!

Im sure I can do them, but Im stuck like 3/4 of the way. My head is like inches away from the wall, but I feel like I’m going to fall forward

The problem is I always end up doing the terrible movement you demonstrated when they are asking for wall walks in a WOD for reps combined with other exercises. So its a question of should you scale to 1 wallwalk per round with good form or 5 walk walks per round with terrible form. Thats tends to sometimes be the problem when it comes to crossfit. Since the goal is to do more reps as quickly as possible something has to give, either your form or the amount of reps you can do in a small amount of time.

Form > Amount. When I first heard AMRAP I though (and still do) as many reps as possible with perfect form. If I can no longer do one with great form, I move on to the next exercise.

I can get my feet up in the wall but I have trouble walking my hands back as my feet go up the wall. Any recommendations on how to get that better?

Wall walks are super hard. My quads touch the Wall and I can't move back further. I'm always about an inch or two in front of the tape

:0 seems hard. can this be done by a guy with rotator cuff injury?

thank you Jessica, that was great, especially when you highlighted the issue regarding stability of the core. honestly, after couple sets, I made that mistake when muscles were nearly fatigued. now I know what to look for to avoid! :)

It is hard because you have to strengthen the arms shoulders and the core before you do it because you wil not be abble to hold your body when you are up let alone to move forward

Better workout if you keep your feet on the wall JUST above the floor in the lowest position and never leave the wall.
