I watched this video about about 6 months ago, and Im watching it again. I thought this is a great way to wash a weave and lets the client know you really care about their hair underneath. I got myself an iron comb the very next day and let me tell you...when I used it on my first client of the day, I thought she was going to need a moment by herself if you know what I mean. The noises she was making from me really getting to her scalp with that comb, I had to tell her to shush! My clients absolute love the new way I wash their weave. They always remind me to bring my special comb to the shampoo bowl. And because they are so relaxed afterwards, my tips have increased.. So thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

This video was so professionally done, I really appreciated that. Couple of questions: 1. For someone who lives in hit, humid weather and works out (sweats heavily) every day, how often would you recommend washing? 2. What hair are YOU wearing?

Hi, this video was great thanks! I was thinking about getting a sew in for the first time and sice you care about the health of the hair I was wondering if you recommend sew in caps or just getting installations to your real hair?

I just got my first sew in yesterday. My stylist told me not to do anything to my hair if I want it to grow. But I'm not sure I believe her. Can you give me some tips? I have a sew in with virgin hair. How often should I wash it? Do I wash the virgin hair or just the scalp? How do I moisturize the hair underneath? And how do I avoid mildew?
@luxuryhairhouse96419 жыл бұрын
Your stylist gave you poor advice 😞 Not washing, conditioning or moisturizing your hair underneath the sew in is the fastest way to lose hair. Your hair will grow of course, but when the sew in comes out you'll excessive hair shedding. Washing and conditioning your hair as demonstrated in the video is a great way to retain length. It's also important to lock in the moisture ( research loc method for hair extensions). Stock up on applicator bottles for easier maintenance. Also there are salons that will manage the process for you. Hope this helps!!
