She did great! This is so realist. Everyone doesn't like fontals and closures. I see alot of people commenting that her edges are damaged, but honestly they look a little thin probably because it's less hair out on the side and some people naturally have thinner sides. Doesn't mean it's damaged lol. Great work

Thank you Tamika. I clicked because I've seen so many videos where people are taking out MONTHS OLD weaves that have NOT been washed. Many say you can't wash a weave. Your video shows how to have clean hair while preserving expensive styles. Excellent job.

It's nice to see a stylist using the applicator bottle and getting the shampoo on the braids and scalp underneath, and really getting your scalp clean. Nothing is worst than paying your money and coming out still with a smelly, itchy and dirty scalp because the stylist doesn't take the time to get the shampoo on your scalp. Thank you for this and a detailed, great video.

Leave outs look more natural to me!! You did a fantastic job. I feel like if I wear a closure then I might as well wear a wig lol. And as long as the hair is taken proper care of its fine .

@@natriac.6092 Just putting conditioner on your hair won't revert it back if it's heat damages. Your hair will be permanently straight and it won't revert back unless you cut the permanetly straightened pieces off. Also, if you have bone straight extensions and just have your hair blown out, it will still be puffy and it won't blend in with your extensions. That's just how I see it.

I love watching hair videos but the comments always annoy me to no end. Everyone follows trends so mindlessly that they think anytime someone does something different it’s wrong. People have been getting sew ins for yeaarrssss! And her edges and many people’s edges are thin due to genetic things. Stop letting Instagram tell you what’s right and wrong.

Briana Bananas I think this is more so for people who try keeping up with their hair the same while having a sew in. So if you wash your hair every week or two you wouldn't take the sew in out.

The hair was super pretty, but I am terrified of the hair underneath not drying 100% when washed. I've heard horror stories of women not getting their hair dry and mold growing and my God it turned me off from sew-ins. That and the itching.

Also some of these females that had moldy sew ins might not be the cleanest ppl I believe if your sew in is 80% dry you’re good I’ve had over 10 sew ins and washed all of them while installed and dried some and sat under a dryer for some and never got mold

They won’t lol. If it’s cold where you live you may want to blow dry them so you don’t get sick but I live in The dessert (very hot rn) so I can wash my hair (braids underneath included) and they just dry np. :)

+Michelle W sis where were you at in time 11:40-11:50? She separated the weave hair put the net on and sat her under the dry for one hour to dry the braids underneath. I'm assuming the air dry comment was referenced to the damp braids. They are about 90% dry so I am sure she will be fine.

Michelle W That’s what I was told... when I wore weave, my stylist would ALWAYS dry the braids/wefts underneath completely because damp hair under the weave will mildew.

When I get my sew-ins I blend my own hair and I do it the same way or I use a small brush that I have... it literally BLENDS hair together ... the brush works really well for blending blunt cut leave out like after I get my ends trimmed.. but make sure the brush isn’t full of product..

Yes. Her edges are very thin but it’s because she inherited them not because of weaves or improper hair care. This is an issue amongst many people.

How often would you tell someone to wash their hair with a sew in installed and at what point do you tell someone to take out out, about how many washes or how much regrowth?

Sew ins should only stay in 6-8 weeks. They can be shampooed every two weeks but some people do it once a week.

I use a fhi do to silk presses on my hair and clients definitely good choice of flat iron-
