Nice Job! Just wished you'd show how you dried it! Did you put on hanger upside down or right side up, lay flat or placed btwn another set of towels? Approximately how long did it take to dry? Thanks!!
@JesseMSimons Жыл бұрын
I usually dry them overnight. Some wigs take Longer then others. I like to use a clip and hand It it up in the shower. Don’t hang it upside down unless you are wanting more volume. 😊

Hi Jessie! THANK YOU! I received the Fibronacci shampoo and conditioning spray and the fragrance is wonderful! Reminds me of purple candy 💜 hearts! I just wish they made a soakable matching conditioner! My wig turned out super shiny but I had to use a lot of spray to try to comb it. Ended up spraying with water, too and that helped a little.
@AthenaCreamer Жыл бұрын
But I ended up rewashing it thinking there was a buildup on it. It wasn’t an expensive wig but low density synthetic and quite long. I did try rinsing it 5 times. Do you have any advice on a complementary conditioner? I couldn’t find a matching Fibronacci one but there are others in green bottles. Didn’t know if I got the right one (pink) and if they have the same fragrance. Thank you again ❤

I’m glad you like the smell!! If you don’t like the spray you can just use a small amount of fabric softener in some water and let the wig soak for 30 mins then rinse it really well in cold water. It will condition and soften the fibers back on the wig. I like to use the downy lavender dreams one because it smells amazing.

Jesse I need ur advice. The only kind of wig shampoo I have ever used is Godiva secret. I’ve noticed that it does make a wig, clean and shiny but I don’t like the smell. Would you say that brandy wine has the best scent after washing? I use synthetic wigs, not expensive ones. I rarely use any hair products on them and I don’t put any heat on them, I need something that I can use frequently because I can’t stand the smell. It picks up from the great outdoors. I hope you see this I’m about to order soon thank you so much I love your program! PS, my daughter has stage three breast cancer. She is now bald and open to wigs. I’m going to give her a list of your videos. God bless you!❤ Ps is John Reneau good?

Thanks for watching! Most of my wigs are synthetic. I have a couple human hair wigs. I just find myself going to grab those over and over again. They are already styled. They look great. With proper wig care they can last a long time. If I want to I can alter them. It's the definition of a win-win scenario!
@momhairdontcare79093 жыл бұрын
@@JesseMSimons I feel the exact same. I get so much wear out of mine. I have some that are 5 years old! This past few months I have really stocked up because I’ve found the quality of wigs has gone up and prices have stayed about the same. Big Bang for your buck! I just had my 3rd baby and get pretty significant hair loss so I got enough units to last me for probably years to come 😂.... I went overboard. What is your favorite synthetic wig brand? I’m always open to branching out.

@@momhairdontcare7909 congrats on the new baby! I have two myself. I have tried a lot of different brands over the years but settled on one main one that I just love. www.Chelseysmithcosmetics.com/Jesse Is were I get most of my wigs from. I watched a few of your videos. You said you like to stay in the $20-50 range. Some of these wigs are around that price (especially when it's on a discount... And if youre like me, you love the word discount). However, on the regular they tend to be more around the $70-100 range. I found i just keep coming back to this brand. I also buy Amazon wigs as well!

Will it take the curl or wave pattern out if I wash it?
@JesseMSimons10 ай бұрын
Not as long as you use cold/cool water. The curl pattern will stay in synthetics as long as they don’t have any heat applied to them.

I find my wigs at the ends feel dry like straw and looks less real. How do I keep them from doing that?
@JesseMSimons10 ай бұрын
If they are heat safe use a hot comb. I have how to repair a wig videos here that show you tons of different techniques.

Do wigs need to be washed before the first use?
@JesseMSimons Жыл бұрын
No they don’t unless you have sensitivities then I recommend doing a wash just because some wigs come with wig oils and things like that already on them from the manufacturers.

Everyone always says not to use regular shampoo and conditioner on synthetic wigs because the formulas for human hair aren’t appropriate for synthetic fibers, and yet every ingredient list I’ve analyzed on numerous products from both categories show that they literally use the same damn ingredients. Am I the only one who reads ingredient lists? They’re printed on every bottle, it’s not secret or proprietary, and yet very wig channel on KZbin and every wig blogger on the web will tell you you can’t use standard hair shampoo and conditioner on your synthetic wigs because it will damage them, or like you just said they won’t absorb the ingredients like natural hair…? Huh? Then why are the ingredients the same as natural hair shampoo?? So frustrating! You should at least look at the ingredients on the label before you tell thousands of people something that isn’t true and whilst encouraging them to spend money on something they don’t need, I mean, wigs are expensive enough already. Sheesh.

I have used regular hair products on my wigs to see what works and doesn’t over the years and I can say that I have 100% had issues with build up and films and all sorts of weird things when it comes to using those types of products on my synthetic wigs. Not to say there aren’t items you can use like Dawn or baby shampoo wash as a wig shampoo and diluted fabric softener as a conditioning option that may be more budget friendly or easier to access but I would still say that I personally would not recommend using HH hair care products on your wigs minus a few exceptions I have found.
